Figure 4.1(a) shows the measured data of diumal variation of solar radiation in Biratnagar on 11" February, 2010. However the maximum solar radiation 704.51 W/m’ is found at noon time. In the figure, the measured values are compared with calculated values of clear sky condition. It shows that measured values are 47.3% less than calculated value. The correlation coefficient, standard deviation and P-values are 0.953, 93.08 and 0.0001 respectively. These statistical analyses show that the quality of the measured data is good.
