Table 4: 1st Semester Field Information Course Distribution When the first semester courses of Arabic Translation and Interpreting Undergraduate programs are examined, it is seen that there are similar courses on language skills in all departments. However, there are also differences between the programs. While AYBU has seven courses in the first term, it is seen that there are five courses in KKU and KMU. In terms of translation courses, "Legal Translation I (Arabic-Turkish)" and "Media Translation" courses at AYBU, "Reading Translation-I" course at KKU and "Introduction to Translation I" course at KMU are in the program. When a comparison is made in terms of translation courses, it is seen that translation specialization courses are given starting from the first semester in AYBU program. The reason for this may be the thought that students who take preparatory education have completed a certain amount of language skills lessons.
