The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in accounting and commerce is transforming traditional processes by enabling real-time analytics and data-driven decision-making. Techniques like machine learning, natural language processing, and robotic process automation are employed across a range of tasks, including data entry, financial reporting, fraud detection, and customer service. These technological advancements significantly improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. However, they also raise important concerns regarding ethics, data privacy, workforce displacement, and regulatory compliance. This study critically examines the multifaceted impact of AI on accounting and commerce by evaluating the associated opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends. Drawing upon interdisciplinary literature and current organizational practices, the study offers valuable insights for scholars, business leaders, and policymakers navigating this evolving landscape.

In the rapidly evolving global education landscape, Knowledge Management (KM) has emerged as a strategic necessity for higher education institutions (HEIs). This study investigates the dynamics of KM in the Indian HEI contex analysing technological, cultural, and organisational enablers and obstacles. Drawing on a wealthy literature base and levelheaded in empirical and conceptual models, the take a look at examines how information control (KM) practices effect coaching fine, research productivity, institutional performance, and stakeholder engagement. Using a blended-strategies approach and an exploratory studies design, the paper identifies quality practices, addresses gaps in present frameworks, and gives actionable strategies for Indian HEIs. Social entrepreneurship has emerged as a powerful force to address societal challenges while fostering sustainable development. As the field continues to grow, it is important to assess the impact of social entrepreneurship research as it is increasingly important to inform future policy initiatives and decisions. This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis that aims to assess the scholarly landscape and impact of social entrepreneurship research from 2019 to 2023. Utilising bibliometric techniques, including citation analysis, co-citation analysis, and keyword co-occurrence analysis, can systematically map scholarly results, identify the main research theme, and reveal the influential works and authors in the field of this study. Our findings reveal the growth trajectory of social entrepreneurship research where it can highlight emerging trends, key research clusters and influential stakeholders who have studied the field extensively. Additionally, through network analysis, clarify the interconnectedness of research domains and knowledge flows in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem. By synthesising these views, this study provides valuable implications for researchers, practitioners and policymakers who wish to advance the theory and practice of social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, it emphasises the importance of bibliometric analysis as a powerful tool to assess the impact and shape future research direction in social entrepreneurship. This bibliometric analysis can also unravel the current patterns and developments in social entrepreneurship. In terms of contemporary social entrepreneurship trends, researchers can see which countries have made significant contributions to the research field. Standard document types, resource categories and languages used in the social entrepreneurship domain can be translated in this bibliometric analysis. Researchers can also see that the title of the main source with the most publications and citations in social entrepreneurship can be linked. Next, bibliometric analysis can reveal which authors have achieved significant recognition in the domain of social entrepreneurship. The researcher also identified the main theme that is important in the context of social entrepreneurship. The advantages and disadvantages in assessing the impact of social entrepreneurship should be continued and discussed from time to time to deal with new problems as well as existing problems. The researcher has evaluated a total of 274 publications that have been found through the Scopus index using this bibliometric study. Social entrepreneurship is a field of analysis carried out by 160 writers. The keywords that can be seen in this study are social entrepreneurship, business, management and accounting, which shows how important this study is to all.

Lengvai pasiekiamos informacijos idėja, šiandien įvardijama kaip virtuali, skaitmeninė biblioteka, prasidėjo nuo Vannevar 'o Bush'o Memex mašinos. 1945 metais plėtota nuostabi mintis sukurti mechanizmą, įgalinantį įvairiapusės informacijos suradimą ir prieinamumą, šiandien tampa kasdienybe pasaulinių tinklų, daugialypės terpės ir modernių technologinių sprendimų kontekste. Šiame straipsnyje analizuojami diskurse dažnai pasirodančių terminų, kurie žymi naują bibliotekos pavidalą elektroninėje erdvėje, samprata -"virtuali biblioteka", "skaitmeninė biblioteka", "elektroninė biblioteka", "biblioteka be sienų", "hibridinė biblioteka", "kompleksinė biblioteka" ir t. t. Terminų painiavoje siekiama rasti bendrybių ir skirtumų, atskirai pristatoma virtualios organizacijos struktūra. Nedetalizuojant įvardijamos naujųjų bibliotekų apraiškos realybėje, nauji projektai ir tendencijos. Pabaigoje šis reiškinys nagrinėjamas lietuviškame bibliotekininkystės mokslo ir praktikos kontekste. Prieinama prie išvados, kad galima išskirti keletą skirtingų menamos bibliotekos būvių, tačiau tikėtina, kad ateityje, be menamos, egzistuos kompleksinė struktūra -vienu metu ir materiali, ir menama biblioteka.

Capital structure and financial performance have long been a focal area in finance and corporate strategy. Understanding the relationship between capital structure and financial performance is crucial for firm's decision making and enhancing profitability. This study investigates the intricate relationship between capital structure and financial performance in order to facilitate the development of a better theoretical and practical understanding. This paper employs PRISMA approach to conduct a comprehensive systematic literature review and Bibliometric analysis to explore existing level of research in this domain. It also seeks to uncover gaps in existing knowledge while highlighting the implications of financing decisions on financial outcomes. The findings indicate significant variation in capital structure strategies across industries and regions, influenced by factors such as market conditions, regulatory environments, and firm-specific characteristics. The study also identifies a noticeable gap in sector-specific research, suggesting a need for more focused studies. The bibliometric analysis further indicates significant academic interest globally, particularly in emerging markets where financing constraints and institutional differences may impact capital structure strategies. This study contributes meaningfully to the existing literature by providing a structured overview of the research area, identifying future research opportunities, and providing insights for academics, industry practitioners, and policymakers aiming to optimize financial strategies in capital-intensive industries.

This paper examines the transformation of copyright limitations on the free use of works for educational and research purposes in the context of distance learning. As technology advances, educational institutions increasingly use digital learning tools which include copyrighted material. The European Union has continuously tried to harmonise copyright laws across the Member States by adopting directives, such as the Information Society Directive, and providing exceptions for using works for educational purposes. However, national legislators have been given a great deal of freedom, resulting in divergent implementation in the Member States. Lithuania, in line with the EU law, included an exception to the copyright law to allow the use of small parts of works for educational and scientific research purposes. However, the law did not explicitly address digital use and cross-border education, which caused difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. To meet the challenges of the digital age, in 2019, the EU adopted the Digital Market Directive, which entered into force in May 2022 and provided for a mandatory copyright exception for educational purposes. This directive aimed to modernise copyright law by facilitating the use of works in digital and cross-border education.  Despite the updates to the copyright exceptions, several problematic aspects remained. The Directive restricts the digitization of a whole textbook or the use of whole works for educational purposes. The updated legal framework is considered modern, but it has only partially addressed the challenges posed by technological advances. The article therefore stresses the need for continuous assessment of the digitization and hosting of distance learning materials and copyright infringement.

In today's global environment, organizations are constantly looking for ways to expand and improve their businesses in terms of quality to enhance performance. Quality management practices have been used by manufacturing firms in Kenya to improve on performance. However, customers are still complaining that the quality of manufactured products has been compromised. The Objective of the study was to examine the influence of total quality management practices on performance of cement manufacturing companies in Kenya. Specific objectives to assess the influence of customer focus and Top management commitment practices on performance on cement manufacturing firms in Kenya. The study was guided by Customer relationship management theory and Transformational leadership theory. This research study adopted descriptive research design. The target population was composed of 63 management staff employed in the Cement Limited companies in Kenya. The study employed a census on all the population elements. This was because the population is relatively small to carry out sampling. The study used a semi-structured questionnaire to be administered using a drop and pick later method. Data collected was purely quantitative and it was analyzed by descriptive analysis. The descriptive statistical tools such as Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Version 21.0) and MS Excel were used to extract frequencies, percentages, means and other central tendencies. Tables and figures were used to summarize responses for further analysis and facilitate comparison in the presentations. In view of the study findings, it can be concluded that performance of cement manufacturing firms in Kenya were positively affected by Customer Focus and Top Management Commitment. Recommendations were made on the study that manufacturing firms should adopt customer focus and top management Commitment with the aim of enhancing Performance of Cement Manufacturing Companies.

This paper examined the effect of Information Systems on revenue collection of Local Authorities in Homa Bay, Kenya. Study objectives included establishing the relationship between internal control systems, Information Systems and revenue collection in Kenyan Local Authorities; determining the levels of quality service offered to the clients by Local Authorities and investigating whether Information Systems relate to effectiveness and efficiency of Revenue Collection. A structured cross-section survey was used to collect data from 2,007 individuals, of which 165 were Local Authorities staff and 1,842 were traders in Homa Bay Municipality. The study found that: there is a relationship between Information Systems and both efficiency and effectiveness in revenue collection, there is a strong positive relationship between Internal Control Systems and revenue collection as reported by 97% of the respondents, and that resistance to change by the council staff was derailing the full implementation of Information Systems. The study is useful in reviewing the institutions' Act and statutes to cater fully for the integration of IS in the management activities of Homa Bay Municipal Council, to managers at all levels, public sector, policy makers and scholars.

Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, dibangunlah sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat menjadi alternatif bagi penumpang untuk melakukan pemesanan tiket bus, melihat ketersediaan kursi, dan dapat membantu membuat laporan secara otomatis bagi admin. Finding workable solutions to the detrimental effects of earth’s changing climate on human development, the mismanagement of the natural environment, and the continuous consumption of non-renewable resources are among the most significant Wicked Problems facing society today. However, descriptions of these problems and their solutions contain contested knowledge, making strategic decision-making about climate change, for example, a problematic exercise. While managers normally possess some knowledge about the strategic management process, many fail to follow the sequence of steps in the strategic management playbook. In addition, many managers also lack knowledge about how cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology shape their decisions and the decisions of others. Missing any step in the playbook combined with knowledge gaps about cognitive neuroscience become obstacles in the journey to sustainability. This paper focuses on environmental sustainability and explores strategic management and strategic innovation in this context. Kurt Lewin’s Field Theory and Herbert Simon’s notion of Bounded Rationality combine to model how managers bounded within a contested space acquire and process knowledge. The model shows why ignoring the influence of cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology on human behaviour are serious pitfalls in the decision-making process. This view in amplified when substantial financial, social, political, and economic resource are required to implement and successfully execute projects aimed at achieving environmental sustainability.

Increasingly companies are focused on searching for ways to create strong brand connections with consumers. The main purpose of this study is to explore the impact of brand personality on brand attachment through the mediating role of trust. Also investigate the moderating role of self-congruence on the relationship between brand personality and brand trust.  SPSS 23 is used to analyze the data. Data was collected through survey questionnaire technique and snow-ball sampling technique was used for data collection. Analysis reveal Brand personality have significant and positive relationship with brand trust. On the other side trust significantly enhance the brand attachment. While the results prove that self-congruence have significant moderating effect on the relationship between brand personality and brand trust.

The objectives of this study are to examine the role of AI in strategic decision-making, evaluate its impact on operational processes,
and assess the challenges in its adoption. A qualitative methodology was employed, synthesizing existing literature and case studies
to analyze AI's applications and identify key barriers and opportunities. The findings suggest that while AI offers substantial benefits
in decision-making, challenges related to data security, algorithmic bias, and organizational readiness must be addressed for
successful implementation. The study concludes that businesses must adopt a strategic approach to AI integration, focusing on
technology, ethics, and workforce readiness. It is recommended that organizations invest in AI tools, establish ethical frameworks,
and prioritize employee training to fully harness AI's potential

It is known that schools and universities are the most important formal environment in which individuals acquire the knowledge and skills they need. Therefore, schools and universities should strive to prepare students

It is accepted that the responsibility of providing students with the skills conceptualized as 21st century skills is among the duties of educational organizations. It is stated that the responsibility of gaining 21st century skills to individuals is not only in primary and secondary education schools, but universities, which are higher education organizations, should take responsibility.

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of the role of youth on agricultural development in the Gayo Lues Regency of Aceh Province. The research was conducted by survey method, the sample was determined by simple random sampling and the number of samples was determined by the Frank Lynk formula. This research is explanatory which explains the relationship between the variables studied. Data analysis was performed with descriptive analysis and multiple linear regressions. The results of the research show that the role of youth as agent of change, agent of development and agent of modernization has a mean score of 3.57 in the interval 3 <NS≤4. Furthermore Fstatistic> Ftable and Pvalue <0.05, explaining the role of youth simultaneously has a significant positive effect on agricultural development. The partial test of tstatistic> t table and Pvalue <0.05 shows the role of youth as agents of change, agent of development and agent of modernization partially have a significant positive effect on agricultural development. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the role of youth on agricultural development in the Gayo Lues Regency of Aceh Province.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of structural holes on financial performance of medium sized enterprises in Kenya . This is because the Medium sized enterprises play an important economic and social role in many countries. If these firms want to remain competitive and sustainable there is need to understand the influence of entrepreneurial networks on financial performance. A descriptive survey design was adopted. The target population was drawn from 51 medium sized enterprises in Kenya which participated in the top 100 mid-sized ranking for the period 2011 to 2015 by KPMG. Multi stage, systematic and purposive sampling was used to select a sample of 255 which has the data needed in the study. Primary data was collected using questionnaires. It will be suggested a conceptual intersection between the System Dynamics methodology and the Prospective approach, one of the future studies applied methodologies. This interaction could be useful for both methodologies. Depending on the purpose of the System Dynamics study, the two methodologies might match in the three basic principles of Prospective: appropriation, anticipation and action. Prospective usually goes through a series of steps, which are: structural analysis, actor strategy analysis, expert methods for scenario proposal, multicriteria analysis for strategy and policy assessment. There are specific tools for each of these steps. After presenting both approaches, the above mentioned conceptual intersection will be explained from two viewpoints: when enriching a System Dynamics study with some of the tools that offers the Prospective approach, and viceversa.

This study explores the revolutionary impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on guiding startups in this decision-making process. The research aims to understand how and to what extent AI affects the selection of CSPs by startups. A mixed-methods approach was utilized, incorporating quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to target startup decision-makers. Initial results indicate that artificial intelligence provides startups with a more efficient and data-driven means of evaluating the numerous options presented by the CSP landscape. The study also highlights the obstacles startups encounter when integrating AI into this process, including the necessity of expertise and the potential for over-reliance on AI recommendations. In conclusion, a balanced perspective that melds AI insights with human judgment is crucial for startups seeking a CSP. This study contributes valuable insights to the academic discourse on technology adoption among startups and offers practical applications for both startups and CSPs in the shifting digital ecosystem.

The International Research Database Lituanistika has been created since 2006 funded by European Union Structural Funds. On the 25th of August 2011 the three year financing and administration agreement of the continued project “Database Lituanistika” (project code VP1-3.1-ŠMM-02-V-02-003) was signed between the European Social Fund Agency and the Research Council of Lithuania. The article presents the main objectives, activities and developmental guidelines of the Database Lituanistika, which accumulates and disseminates verified, high quality information about Lithuanian studies carried out in Lithuania and abroad. Application of information communication technologies in this database, the correlations of this database with other information systems and activities of the Lithuanian Virtual University as well as the programme of the Lithuanian Academic Libraries Network is discussed in detail

Lietuvos mokslo taryba, 3 Lietuvos akademinių bibliotekų direktorių asociacija, 4 Vilniaus universitetas Anotacija Nuo 2006 m. kuriama tarptautinė mokslinė duomenų bazė Lituanistika, finansuojama Europos Sąjungos struktūrinių fondų lėšomis. 2011 m. rugpjūčio 25 d. pasirašyta tęstinio projekto "Duomenų bazė Lituanistika" (projekto kodas VP1-3.1-ŠMM-02-V-02-003) trijų metų finansavimo ir administravimo sutartis tarp Europos socialinio fondo agentūros ir Lietuvos mokslo tarybos. Pristatyta duomenų bazės Lituanistika, kaupiančios ir skleidţiančios patikrintą, kokybišką informaciją apie Lietuvoje ir pasaulyje atliekamus lituanistikos mokslinius tyrimus, pagrindiniai uţdaviniai, veiklos ir plėtros gairės. Aptarta informacinių ir ryšių (informacinių komunikacinių) technologijų taikymas šioje duomenų bazėje, jos sąsajos su Lietuvos virtualaus universiteto programos LABT uţdavinio projektiniais produktais ir kitomis mokslinių tyrimų infrastruktūromis.

The article examines the current situation on state regulation of innovations, which is considered the main driving force of digital transformation in Azerbaijan. In this regard, the current situation of state regulation of innovations, financing issues of innovative entrepreneurial enterprises and startups, the measures implemented to stimulate their activity were studied. Also, the number of operating startups, the ratio of research and development expenditures to GDP were comparatively analyzed with neighboring countries. At the end, the results were summarized and relevant proposals were made. Comparative and statistical analysis, systematic approach, and  generalization methods were used in the article. Reports and statistical data of authoritative international organizations – the United Nations and the World Intellectual Property Organization were used during the analysis.

Santrauka. Darbe nagrinėjami femtocelių naudojimo, jungiant jas į bendrą makrotinklo infrastruktūrą, klausimai. Analizuojami kylantys sunkumai ir jų sprendimo variantai. Išskiriamos dvi: vartotojų bei operatorių-šakos, kuriose analizuojama femtocelių teikiama nauda. Lengvas diegimas, tinklo talpumo didinimas, naujų femtozonų atsiradimas. Visa tai femtoceles daro patrauklias šiandieniam naudojimui tinkluose. Vartotojo požiūriu užtikrinama balso skambučių kokybė, didelis duomenų pralaidumas. Be to, operatorius turi galimybę plėsti tinklą daug mažesnėmis sąnaudomis. Neplanuoto diegimo principai, mobilumas, skirtingo tipo vartotojų grupės gali sukelti didelių sunkumų vartotojui naudojantis femtocele, o operatoriui užtikrinti tinkamą jų funkcionavimą. Atlikta femtocelių savybių analizė rodo, kad operatoriaus požiūriu didžioji dalis HNB savybių yra teigiamos. Iš kliento pozicijos pasireiškiantys trūkumai šalinami sunkiai. Teigiamų ir neigiamų savybių pasiskirstymas operatoriaus ir kliento šakoms pateikiamas HNB modeliu.

This paper analyses the use of femtocells connected into a single macro network infrastructure. Different problems and possible solutions were discussed. The paper is focused on two separate benefits, which HNB could bring an operator and user. Femtocells are especially appealing due to the freedom of installation, increased macro network capacity, femto zone rates and etc. They provide users with better service quality, including voice service and higher throughput; while operators can reduce their network deployment expenditures. On the other hand, unplanned deployment, mobility issues and different types of user groups can cause a headache both for operators and customers. The analysis demonstrated that the majority of features of femtocells from the operator’s point of view were positive. This paper focuses on assessment of Cross Cultural communication strategy on Employees performance in Selected Multinationals in South East, Nigeria. The objectives which guided the study were a to ascertain the effect of adopting cross cultural communication strategy on employee performance of selected multinational companies and examine the effect of cross cultural religious tolerance on employee performance. A five point Likert scale-type questionnaire was constructed, and administered among the staff of the selected multinational companies in the South East Nigeria manually. The sample size of 313 was obtained from the population. The hypotheses were tested using simple linear regression statistical tools. The results of the analyses showed that adoption of cross cultural communication strategy positively affects employee performance of selected multinational companies in the South East of Nigeria (r = .930; f = 1474.049; t = 38.393; p = .00). Implementation of cross-cultural religious tolerance positively affects employee performance of selected multinational companies in the South East of Nigeria (r = .938; f = 276.425; t = 16.626; p = .00). The Information Technology (IT) field continues to evolve at a rapid pace over the past decade, and management has embraced the directives of innovation, cooperative effort, and efficiency as organizational objectives. From a practice perspective, IT project managers have evaluated the distributed leadership style quite favorably in recent years. Furthermore, there is an emerging area of research that reflects interest in the application of the shared leadership model to the everyday functioning of project managers. At the same time, research investigations supporting shared leadership principles have appeared across the broad areas of organizational and work psychology. To date, a systematic review of this diverse body of knowledge has not appeared. To that end, the current article seeks to a) discuss the integrative role of the contemporary IT Project Manager in today's business environment, b) provide a contextual framework of the shared leadership model, c) review empirical studies about the effectiveness of shared leadership principles, d) examine the interface of IT project management and shared leadership, and e) suggest recommendations that may foster the nexus of shared leadership and the project management field.

This research aims to understand and examine the application of the balanced scorecard as performance measurement tools. BSC is a performance measurement tool that combines financial and nonfinancial performance measurements. This research object is a public sector organization, the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) Ministry of Finance. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive methods. The steps taken in this study are collection, classification, presentation, and tabulation of data obtained. Subsequently performed a systematic, accurate, and factual description regarding the facts of the object being inspected. This study uses DJPPR's Performance Reports in 2018 and 2017. The results of the study indicate that the application of a balanced scorecard and DJPPR's performance as a whole is good, which is shown by determining the perspective that has been aligned with the organization's strategy and its implementation encourages the achievement of performance targets

Pests and insects are disease causing agents when it bites an individual. It is not a rumor that most of the Senior High Schools in Ghana are infested with lots of pest. Apart from their bites they are able to affect food and other items in the schools. The study sought to investigate the impact of pests and co-infection on the Senior High School students in some selected schools in the Kumasi Metropolis. The descriptive study design was employed to study the respondents. An estimated sample size (n) of 227 respondents was arrived at and both the probability sampling and non-probability sampling techniques were employed in attaining the desired sample. Questionnaires were used to collect data from the respondents. The data were collated and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The possibilities to introduce school students to software internationalization element are discussed. The basic knowledge of internalization can be provided in the forma of simple practical tasks of programming. The software internalization learning is a multi-topic: students gain understanding of internationalization and localization of programs, enough knowledge to be able to test actually used programs, especially open source software (this could be a serious motivation), they learn about the world’s linguistic diversity, realize deeper meaning of native language and its place among the other languages.

The pharmaceutical industry is key to the survival of human race, but equally becoming increasingly susceptible to global disruptions. In Nigeria, records have shown that the industry is plagued with several problems, inclusive of low innovation performance, which may be due to lack of strategic flexibility in the face of increasing environment turbulence and intense competition. This study examined the effect of strategic flexibility on innovation performance of quoted pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria. The study adopted survey research design. The population comprised 642 management and senior staff employees of the six quoted pharmaceutical firms in Nigeria. Findings showed that strategic flexibility has positive significant effects on innovation performance (Adj. R 2 = 0.425, p = 0.000, Q 2 = 0.409) of quoted pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria. Specifically, coordination flexibility (β = 0.124, t = 2.688), futurity (β = 0.191, t = 3.788), proactive flexibility (β = 0.197, t = 3.57), reactive flexibility (β = 0.232, t = 4.192), and resource flexibility (β = 0.103, t = 2.867) all have positive significant effects on innovation performance. The study recommended that management of quoted pharma companies in Nigeria should pay serious attention to strategic flexibility as organizational capability that can help enhance innovation capacity of the firms, in the face of increasing uncertainties in and unpredictability nature of the business environment.
