The article presents a newly advanced, novel and proficient symbiotic organism search optimization technique to resolve the stability problem of a power system. A two area reheat based thermal system is considered with the SOS tuned proportional-integral-derivative controller along with fuzzy-PID (FPID) controller separately. The supremacy of this designed power system is verified by introducing a disturbance on load of 0.15 p.u. in one control zone. The validation of the implemented SOS technique is analyzed by doing a comparison with the dynamic responses of the FPID controller over a two area reheat based thermal power system. Finally, a profound verification is achieved to analyze the robustness and non-linearity of the modeled controller by subjecting a 5% of generation rate constraints (GRCs) to the designed system with the existance of superconducting magnetic energy storage.

This paper brings up a grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) interface from the combined use of quasi-Z source inverter (qZSI) and cascaded H-bridge (CHB) inverter. Controlling and modeling of a Z-Source quasi CHB Seven level Inverter has been done. In one stage dc to ac conversion together with the buck/boost output is given by Quasi ZSI. PV applications requires best topology like this because of its numerous advantages such as reduced THD, high reliability and gain. Network for impedance has been drafted in this work for a seven level Z-source CHB Quasi inverter. Application of Data Mining tasks over health care has gained much importance nowadays. Most of the Association Rule Mining techniques attempts to extract only the positive recurrent itemsets and pay less attention towards the negative items. The paper is all about medical assistance, which concentrates on retrieving both positive and negative recurrent itemsets in a efficient way by compressing the overall data available. Stemming methods help in this compression of data to half of its size in order to reduce and save memory space. To analyze data, the clustering technique is applied, especially the k-means clustering is used, as it is found to be more effective, easy and less time consuming method when compared to other clustering flavours.

Voice transmission plays a crucial role in many applications such as e.g. telecommunications. An alternative to increase the efficiency of voice transmission is using a codification that permits compressing the signal to be transmitted. Such a compression assumes data sets with basic forms, whose combination produce the voice signal. Generally this data set is organized around an array of data, known as codebook. The codebook is constructed by a vectorial quantization process, which consists of looking for what vectors are most representatives, within a set. Next a structure of data is created that stores the vectors, also known as centers. Then, given a codebook with the most representative basic forms, the problem is translated to take a piece of voice, look for its position and transmit it. Since the receiver will have the same structure of data the voice will be able to be synthesized. The problem consists in the search in the codebook, which can be expensive in terms of computation and other resources, which perform operation in real time, characteristic that in some services is fundamental, for example in telecommunication. In this work we present a new algorithm to construct and to cross codebooks by using a data mining tool such as self organizing maps over a database of humans voices. This algorithm produces a codebook structure within a relation of proximity between its elements, reducing the problem to a local search, which allows to decrease compression time and to reduce the rate of transmitted bits.
