There is considerable international interest in learning objects. The emphasis on technical issues such as standardisation of metadata schemes and software packaging has diverted attention from the central issues of how to develop pedagogically effective learning objects. This paper presents the development methodology of the UK Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) for Reusable Learning Objects. This is an 'Agile' approach that balances the requirement for flexibility to fit a pressurised work environment with the need to facilitate the development of high quality resources. The approach is grounded in front line practice, including the development of EASA award winning learning objects. The paper outlines this method from problem identification, through design, to learning object production. It complements the earlier work on design principles and heuristics to provide a comprehensive and flexible framework for learning object development.

The study examined the relationship between training and development and employee retention in some selected public universities in Ghana. Public universities in Ghana are faced with myriad of problems related to training and development and employee retention. For instance, ninety-seven percent of public universities in the country do not allow employees to have required external training or developmental training. In fact, if an employee develops a personal ambition for further training or self-development; the public universities would rather he/she tendered a resignation before he or she embarks on such developmental studies. In a style of a qualitative research, descriptive-casual survey method was adopted. Data were collected from the administration of questionnaire and were analysed using multiple regression analysis. Findings show that training and development has a positive relationship with employee retention. This means that a positive relationship exists between training & development and employees' retention. It implies that the more the training and development of the bank employees, the higher the chances of the employees' being retained. This implies that training and development has significant effect on employee retention. The research recommends that a dissatisfied employee cannot work effectively to achieve the organizational goals.

Turkiye’de lisansustu egitime olan ilgi son yillarda ciddi bir hizla artma egilimine girmistir. Bu artis ile ortaya cikan tezlerin niteligi sorgulanmasi gereken bir ihtiyac olarak karsimiza cikmakla birlikte buna donuk yapilmis herhangi bir calismaya rastlamamaktayiz. Akademik yazi ve tezlerin niteligi ile ilgili olarak iki temel sorunsal ile karsilasmaktayiz. Bunlardan ilki ozgunluk sorunu digeri ise intihal sorunudur. Bu calismada bu iki sorunsal cevresinde Turkiye’de yazilmis yuksek lisans ve doktora tezleri incelenmektedir. Calismanin amaci yuksek lisans ve doktora tezlerini ozgunluk ve intihal parametreleri cercevesinde inceleyerek Turkiye akademisinin akademik yazi kalitesini ortaya cikarmaktir. Calisma kapsaminda egitim bilimleri alaninda yazilmis 600 adet yuksek lisans ve doktora tezi Turnitin intihal denetleme programi araciligi ile incelenmistir. Employee performance is the strength of the organization. This study relates to the assessment of the relationship between employee performance evaluations to assess the moderate role of motivation. The current research was conducted in Faisalabad's textile industry. A sample of 204 respondents was drawn using a convenient sampling technique. In addition, the primary information was collected through a questionnaire. For data analysis, SPSS (version-20) software applied percentage, mean, standard deviation, regression and correlation coefficient methods. The result is achievable in a positive relationship between the outcome of the conversion and the employee's earnings. Another variable is motivation, because the moderator has a positive effect between the two relationships. The textile industry can use the evaluation rule as a deliberate approach by integrating it into its business policy and HR practice and improving the employee's performance in the organization.

Employee's performance is a major issue in an organization. The study focuses on finding out the impact of paper presentation on employees' performance. Two hypotheses were analysed by using sampling techniques. A total of 150 employees of GCTU were selected as sample by using simple random sampling. Primary data were collected through standard questionnaire. The researcher applied correlation coefficient through IBM, SPSS and Amos Softwares for analysing the data. Results showed positive relationship between paper presentation and employee's performance. Motivation as a moderator positively affected the relationship between paper presentation and employee's performance. Universities can use appraisal system as a strategic approach by integrating it with business policies and HR practices, a system which can improve the performance standards of its employees.

Değerlerimiz dersini seçen ve bundan sorumlu olan kıymetli öğrenci arkadaşlarım, Bu ders kapsamında sizlerle ders saati içinde konuştuklarımızı olanaklar dâhilinde uygulamayı, konuştuklarımızı kuvveden fiile dökmeyi arzu ediyordum. Çünkü değerlerimiz bir ders, bir teori eğitiminden ziyade karaktere aksetme, bu değerlerimizi bir davranışa dönüştürme çabasıdır. Değerlerimiz kuru bir bilgiden öte yaşanılması gereken erdemlerdir. Lakin mücbir sebeplerden dolayı sizlerle örgün eğitime devam edemedik. Lakin eğitim, hayat boyu devam eden ve birçok yöntemi olan bir süreçtir. Bu süreci verimli olabilecek çalışmalarla devam ettirmek amacıyla sizlerden aşağıda belirteceğim konularda küçük araştırmalar yapmanızı uygun gördüm. Evet, üniversitenin bir diğer adı akademiyadır. Yani akademik araştırmalar yaparak bilim üretmektir. Sizler her ne kadar mesleki bir eğitimi amaçlayarak yüksekokulumuzu tercih etmiş olsanız da akademik bir araştırmanın temel düzeyde nasıl yapılması gerektiğini bilmekle, biz de size bunun yolunu göstermekle mükellefiz. Bu doğrultuda belki akademik bir yayın da yayımlanacak düzeyde olmasa bile tamamen internetten kes yapıştır şeklinde olmayan, konusu, amacı, yöntemi, bulguları ve sonuçları olan, Türkçe yazım kurallarına riayet edilmiş çalışmalar bekliyorum.

GİRİŞ Filozof ve dilbilimci Umberto Eco tarafından yazılan "Tez nasıl yazılır?" adlı kitabın değerlendirmesini yapacağız. İlki 1977'de yayınlanan kitap orijinal dili İtalyanca olmak üzere yazılmış. Bizim elimizdeki 6. baskısı olup çevirisi Betül Parlak'a ait Mayıs 2019, Can sanat Yayınları basımıdır. Öncelikle kitabımızın konusundan içeriğinden bahsedip ardından değerlendirmede bulunalım. Kitaptan bir alıntı ile başlayalım; "Bu kitabın bilimsel bir araştırmanın nasıl yapılacağını açıklamak gibi bir amaç bitmediğini net bir biçimde belirtelim. Bu konu üniversite eğitiminin değeri üzerine teorik bir tartışma gerektirir. Bu kitap bir mezuniyet komitesinin karşısına yönetmeliklere uymanın belli sayfa sayısına sahip mezun olunan disiplinle bir şekilde ilgisi olduğu varsayılan ve tez danışmanını hayrete düşürüp zor bir duruma sokmayacak fiziksel bir nesneye tez savunmasına nasıl geçireceğinize dair fikirler içermektedir. Kitabın teze ne koymayacaksın söylemeyeceği de açıktır. Bu tamamen sizin meselenizdir. Kitap Size sınırı söyleyecek mezuniyet tezi dendiğinde ne kastediyoruz, konuyu nasıl seçeriz ve çalışma zamanı nasıl kullanırız, bir bibliyografik araştırma nasıl yapılır, araştırıp bulduğumuz malzemeyi nasıl düzenleriz, çalışmamızı somut olarak nasıl düzenleyip sunabiliriz". Eco eserini yazma amacından, okuyucuya vermek istediğinden bu şekilde bahsediyor. GELİŞME Bölüm bölüm inceleyelim. 7 bölümden oluşan bu eserde tez yazımına dair en ince detaylara yer verilmiş Elbette amacımız kitabın tanıtımı yapmak ve övmek değildir. Lisans tezini yazmış biri olarak söyleyebilirim ki zor ve 1 yıl kadar zaman alan bu süreçte kafaya takılan hemen hemen çoğu soruya cevap vermiş olan yazar yalnızca tez yazımı değil ortaya konulan tezin geçtiği yolları, takıldığı engelleri, bu yolun planlamasını da belirterek iyi bir yol gösterici olmuştur. Burada yazdığımıza kitabın içeriğini, konu başlıklarını baz alarak örnek verelim. Yazarımız içindekiler kısmında bir tez gibi sınıflandırma yapmış ana ve alt başlıkları ayırmış. Giriş bölümünde kitabın ana konusu tezin tanımı ile başlamış; amacından, kitabın yarar sağlayacağı kişilerden konu edinerek alt başlıklar halinde sıralamış. Direkt tez yazım kılavuzu şeklinde maddeler halinde bir başlangıç yapmayarak okuyucu akademik makale türevi bir yazıdan kurtarmış. Kendine has üslubu ile yazılmış olan eser okuyucuya da samimi bir konuşma havası içerisine sokmuş.

Türkiye’de özellikle sosyal bilim alanında bir rapor, tez ya da makale ile ilgili jüri üyeliği ya da hakemlik yapmanın en temel sıkıntılarından biri içeriğe ayrılacak inceleme zamanının daha çok biçim tashihlerine ayrılıyor olmasıdır. Bunun nedenlerinden biri, yazarın (öğrencinin, uzman yardımcısının hatta akademisyenin) tez / rapor / bitirme projesi vb. yazma konusunda yeterli donanıma sahip olmamasıdır. Ayrıca eğitim sürecinde alınan ‘Sosyal Bilimlerde Yöntem’ ya da ‘Araştırma Teknikleri’ gibi derslerin içeriği sosyal bilimler felsefesiyle geçiştirildiğinden dolayı öğrenci rapor ya da tez yazma konusunda bir tecrübe ve bilgi elde edemez. Bu eksikliklerden dolayı da uzun bir süre bilimsel etikten habersiz ya da etik sorunları göz ardı eden bir akademisyen kuşağı ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak YÖK, yüksek lisans ve doktora programlarına 2016 yılından itibaren ‘Bilimsel Araştırma Teknikleri ve Yayın Etiği’ dersini zorunlu hale getirmiştir.
Birçok farklı alanda kendisini yetiştiren ve akademinin temel sorunlarının farkında olan yazar, uzun yıllara dayanan bu titiz çalışmasıyla sadece tez yazacak adaylar için değil danışmanları için de referans olacak önemli bir eser ortaya koymuştur. Eser inşa edilirken birçok üniversitenin tez yazım yönetmeliği ve birçok kamu kurumunun rapor yazım esasları göz önünde bulundurulmuştur. Enstitü yönetmeliklerinin genel çerçeveyi çizen ancak gerçekte birbirinin kopyası olan ve öğrencinin birçok sorusuna cevap veremeyen içerikleri bu eserle genişletilmiş ve bolca örneklendirilmiştir.
Bilimsel bir araştırma sadece veri toplamayı değil toplanan verilerin etik kurallar çerçevesinde toplanmasını, yönetmeliklere uygun yazılmasını ve etkili bir şekilde sunulmasını da gerektirir. Çalışma ne ölçüde emek harcanmış ve özgün değere sahip olursa olsun iyi bir sunuşla dinleyiciye aktarılamamışsa önemi dile getirilememiş demektir.Yazar, bu zamana kadar pek alışık olmadığımız şekilde bir araştırmanın sunumunun nasıl yapılacağını da titiz biçimde göstermektedir.
Eser büyük bir emek ve titizlik ürünüdür. Yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencilerinin ve kamu kurumlarında uzmanlık tezi hazırlayanların temel referans kaynağı olmaya adaydır. Hatta tez jüri üyeliği ve makale hakemliği yapan akademisyenlerin bile ciddi biçimde dikkate alacakları bir eserdir. Piyasada bu işi yapmak amacıyla ortaya konan ve bir kısmı çeviri olan ancak hiçbir yaraya merhem olmayan çalışmaların karşısında bu eser, hem düşünce ve kültür dünyamıza hem de bilimsel literatüre hatırı sayılır bir katkı sağlayacaktır. /
Dr. Ayhan Sarısu, with his meticulous work for many years, put forward an important work that will be a reference not only for the candidates who will write a thesis but also for their advisors. The thesis writing regulations of many universities and the report writing principles of many public institutions were taken into consideration. The contents of the institute regulations, which draw a general framework but are in fact a copy of each other and cannot answer many questions of the student, have been extended with this work and have been exemplified.
A scientific research requires not only collecting data but also collecting data in accordance with ethical rules, writing in accordance with regulations and presenting effectively. The extent to which the work is spent and if it has not been transferred to the listener with a good presentation no matter what the original value is, it is not possible to emphasize its importance. Dr. Sarısu meticulously shows how to present a research in a way that we are not used to.
The work is a product of great labor and diligence. It is a candidate to be the main reference source for the master's and PhD students and Experts in public institutions. Even this study is beneficial for a jury member and a peer to consider seriously even academics. In order to do this work in the market and some of the translations, but no ointment in the face of studies that do not ointment, I am sure that Dr. Ayhan Sarısu's study will make a considerable contribution to both our world of thought and culture and the scientific literature.

The present study examined the influence of self-efficacy on health complaints and the duration of unemployment in an age-homogeneous sample. data resulted from a prospective cohort study that begun in 1987. Participants answered several questionnaires in 2002 and 2009. results indicate that people with a low level of self-efficacy have higher levels of physical and mental health complaints and experience twice the length of unemployment compared to people with a medium or high level of self-efficacy. Thus, self-efficacy predicts health complaints and the duration of unemployment in the total sample seven years later. even after controlling for base line levels in 2002, self-efficacy could significantly add explained variance in health complaints and duration of unemployment, but the variance explained incrementally is small. Concerning the life span of young adults, we found self-efficacy to be a protective factor relating to health complaints and the duration of experienced unemployment .

In secret sharing , there is a dealer who shares a secret among a group of n parties in a sharing phase. The requirements are that, for some parameter t < n,any set of t colluding parties gets no information about the dealer’s secret at the end of the sharing phase, yet any set of t+1 parties can recover the dealer’s secret in a later reconstruction phase. Secret sharing assumes the dealer is honest; verifiable secret sharing (VSS) also requires that, no matter what a cheating dealer does (in conjunction with t−1 other colluding parties), there is some unique secret to which the dealer is “committed” by the end of the sharing phase. VSS serves as a fundamental building block in the design of protocols for general secure multi-party computation as well as other specialized goals.

Jadi, mengapa kita perlu belajar teknik presentasi? Dengan belajar, memahami, dan menguasai teknik presentasi, kita dapat berkomunikasi atau menyampaikan pesan kepada audiens dengan lebih efektif.

'How much do you know about finding a job', is a simple enough question for an activity that 'can' effectively take up a significant proportion of our lives. A mixed method questionnaire and feedback sheet was statistically analysed, while written narratives were analysed for cues that illuminate the potential impact of 'job seeking knowledge' itself upon the job seeking process. Post training results indicated a strong relationship between job seeking knowledge and job seeking self efficacy. Whereas as contemporary job seeking training focuses on vocational profiling and 'how' to apply for jobs, the results add the potential importance of understanding the 'psychology' behind application and recruitment processes. Implications for programme design, and the role of Work and Organisational Psychology in the community are discussed.

Generations of job seekers has been nurtured to define themselves in terms of Person : Job Fit, and other empirical markers of suitability. However, through environmental demand, gradual changes in organisations and selection processes have resulted in a more holistic interpretation of candidate suitability. The recall, identification, self recognition, and awareness of personal virtues and strengths are as much a feature of recruitment as are qualifications and experience. This shift in organisational entry is totally congruent with the tenets of positive psychology. This paper proposes to outline the application of positive psychology in a reemployment coaching context. The rationale for the selection of supporting psychological theories / concepts, and the relevant practitioner skills applied in the promotion of learned optimism amongst the job seeking unemployed.
