Wattpad sebagai platform digital telah memainkan peran penting dalam transformasi sastra Arab di era digital. Kehadirannya membuka peluang baru bagi penulis Arab untuk mendistribusikan karya secara luas dan tanpa batas, sekaligus menciptakan ruang ekspresi yang inklusif dan demokratis. Namun, di balik potensi tersebut, Wattpad juga menghadapi tantangan serius, seperti kualitas karya yang bervariasi, moderasi konten, serta benturan antara nilai tradisional dan kebebasan berekspresi. Dalam konteks Indonesia, pembahasan mengenai Wattpad dan sastra Arab digital memiliki nilai strategis, terutama dalam meningkatkan literasi digital dan sastra generasi muda, mendorong kebebasan berekspresi, serta menumbuhkan kekuatan soft power melalui diplomasi budaya. Lebih jauh, hal ini juga berkontribusi pada pembentukan model pendidikan yang lebih kontekstual dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan dinamika global. Esai ini menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi bukan sekadar medium, melainkan peluang bagi kebangkitan kultural dan edukatif yang relevan dengan pembangunan bangsa.

ABSTRAK Kata Kunci : retorika, sarana retorika, penyiasatan struktur Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Sarana Retorika dalam Stand Up Comedy Raditya Dika”. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sarana retorika yang berfokus pada penyiasatan struktur yang terdapat pada stand up comedy Raditya Dika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah data kata atau ungkapan dalam stand up comedy Raditya Dika. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi. Dokumentasi dilakukan dengan cara mendowload video dan membuat transkripsi stand up comedy Raditya Dika. Semua data yang diperoleh dicatat untuk memudahkan penulis menganalisis data. Data yang dianalisis diklasifikasikan dan menyimpulkan ke dalam beberapa kelompok, sesuai dengan bentuk penyiasatan struktur (sarana retorika). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia yang terjadi di media sosial Facebook. Dalam era digital, penggunaan bahasa di media sosial sering kali tidak mengikuti kaidah bahasa yang baku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskrip kualitatif untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis kesalahan-kesalahan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang terjadi di dalam media sosial Facebook. Terdapat banyak sekali kesalahan pengetikan, pengejaan, hingga penggunaan kata yang tidak baku dan perubahaan makna kata oleh masyarakat. Melalui analisis ini, masih banyak pengguna media sosial melakukan kesalahan berbahasa dari hal kecil hingga besar dan sudah menjadi hal yang dinormalisasikan di masyarakat sehingga kesalahan berbahasa terus berulang.

This article tries to explain the language extinction phenomena in Indonesia particularly in accordance with factors that can cause the language extinction and its ethnolinguistic implications. There are some factors that can be identified as the reasons so that many languages are in the threshold of extinction. Those are the effects of major language, bilingual or multilingual community, globalization, migration, intermarriage, natural disaster, lack of appreciation towards ethnic language, lack of communication intensity using ethnic language in many domains, economic, and bahasa. Meanwhile, the language extinction can ethnolinguistically bring some implications. By the extinction of a language it could be the loss of knowledge on the internal aspects of it, that is, its structure. On the other side, it can bring implications to a loss of local knowledge and other cultural wealth of a certain ethnic using the language because they can only be known through the language used by its community, unless the language has been documented and revitalized.

Pada saat ini kondisi pembelajaran sastra di sekolah dasar masih mengecewakan. Siswa di sekolah menganggap bahwa bahasa Indonesia merupakan pelajaran yang mudah dan tidak perlu dipelajari secara serius. Hal inilah yang menyebabkan pelajaran sastra kurang diminati oleh siswa dan siswa lebih tertarik pada pelajaran yang mengarah ke olimpiade. Jika dilihat seksama pembelajaran sastra menimbulkan dampak positif bagi siswa diantaranya dalam upaya pengembangan rasa, cipta, dan karsa. Sebab, fungsi utama dari pembelajaran sastra adalah sebagai penghalus budi, dapat meningkatkan rasa kemanusiaan dan kepedulian sosial, menumbuhkembangkan apresiasi budaya, dan menyalurkan gagasan, ide, imajinasi dan ekspresi secara kreatif. Di sekolah saat ini porsi pelajaran bahasa lebih banyak jika dibandingkan dengan porsi pengajaran sastra. Pada umumnya porsi pelajaran sastra hanya berkisar 15% dari pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini jelas akan menghambat keberhasilan pembelajaran sastra di sekolah. Strategi yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan minat siswa dalam mempelajari sastra diantaranya diperlukan peran guru yang mempunyai pengetahuan sastra yang baik, seperti seorang sastrawan sehingga makna sastra itu dapat tersalurkan dengan baik kepada siswa. Selain itu, model pembelajaran konvensional harus ditinggalkan dan diganti dengan metode BKAS (Bimbingan Kritik dan Apresiasi Sastra) yang menggunakan jalur 5-M, yaitu menyimak, membaca, melisankan, menulis dan menjawab persoalan.

The aim of this research is to describe the students’ ability in studying Grammar especially Modality by using song. Modality as the topic provided in Grammar I that the researcher taught in academic year 2016 and 2017 needed serious concern because the students got difficulties to make the sentences by using modality so that the level of students’ scores in every exercise was in the range of low ability. The rapid development of technology makes a process of change in all aspects of life. Likewise in literary life, changes occur in works, critics, and literary readers. In essence, literature is a work that aims to convey information and become a medium of communication. Technological developments have an impact on the emergence of cyber literature that is developing in the mass media. This article describes the role of cyber literature in learning Indonesian language and literature in the digital era. The method used in this paper is descriptive qualitative with the type of qualitative research. The discussion in this article is (1) cyber literature, (2) the impact of cyber literature, and (3) the role of cyber literature in learning Indonesian language and literature.The result showed that The negative impact is the plagiarism of literary works. However, the positive impact of cyber literature is that it provides an opportunity to express ideas and creative writings.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kasus-kasus salah identifikasi puisi Chairil Anwar dari perspektif literasi digital dan kesusastraan. Kami menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan identifikasi, penyebarannya di dunia maya Indonesia, dan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman sastra Indonesia modern. Data diperoleh melalui survei dunia maya dengan kata kunci "bukan puisi Chairil Anwar" dan metode gelindingan bola salju. Hasil penelitian menyoroti kurangnya literasi kesusastraan dan digital di kalangan akademisi sastra Indonesia. Kesimpulannya, literasi digital dan kesusastraan yang lebih kuat diperlukan untuk mencegah kesalahan identifikasi seperti ini. Kami merekomendasikan peningkatan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran sastra dan penelitian lebih cermat sebelum mengidentifikasi sebuah puisi sebagai karya Chairil Anwar.

Language development of a child is believed to be highly influenced by environmental conditions. Parents are the closest individual to children's growing and development of self-skill, especially linguistic skill, which is essential to provide them the ability to socialize with others. The purpose of this study is to examine parents' roles in children's bilingual development. Specifically, this study seeks to have a deep investigation on how the parents play their roles in children's bilingual development. This research is adopting qualitative design and the family with bilingual use of language was targeted as the data source. The data of this study is the utterances collected from the interview which is used as the technique of collecting data. Then the data will be analysed by applying the theory of parents' role suggested by Anderson. The result of this research found that from five of roles suggested by Anderson, four roles were found, they are the role as a motivator (40%), a feedback provider (30%), a facilitator (20%) and a controller (10%), meanwhile the role as threatener was not found. This study also found that the subjects on this research were categorized as unbalanced bilinguals due to their ability to speak one language dominantly over the other language.

The aim of the present paper is an analysis of four most frequent Colloquial Indonesian discourse particles (lho, kok, sih and dong) and the comparison of their occurrences in both spontaneous spoken conversations as well as in written texts (articles from a youth magazine). The author's motivation for choosing the terms discourse particles (instead of for example pragmatic particles) is explained and a new definition of the phenomenon is proposed. First the particles' meanings as given in various dictionaries are presented, it is followed by examples from spontaneous conversations. Next, examples from written text are given, followed by an analysis of possible differences and similarities in meaning. Finally, the possible particles' meanings are presented as sample sentences using the explication method. In the Conclusions, the author makes an attempt at answering the question whether the discourse particles in Colloquial Indonesian can be considered to be a separate word class.

Recently, there has been apprehension in the society about expressing ideas, particularly on political concerns. As a result, public figures such as comedians tend to use sarcasm as their primary weapon in exposing political leaders' weakness, incompetence, or corrupt behavior, as well as government officials' actions. The goal of this research is to look at the form, meaning, and function of sarcasm on the TikTok account @Podcastkeseaje. All of the utterances said by the narrator or speakers in the video recording from the TikTok account @podcastkeselaje are used as data sources in this study. Indirect observation was used to obtain data, which was then followed by recording and note-taking techniques. The data were examined using Camp's (2012) theory for the form of sarcasm, Chaer's (2009) theory for the meaning of sarcasm, and Chaer's (2009) theory for the meaning of sarcasm.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud representasi sosial masa pandemi Covid-19 dalam buku antologi puisi To Kill the Invisible Killer karya FX Rudy Gunawan dan Afnan Malay. Peneliti membatasi penelitian pada enam puisi pilihaan diantaranya,  “Rapid Test”, “Stay At Home (1)”, “Stay At Home (2)”, “Leadership (1)”, “Menolak Tumbang” dan “Mulai Janggal”. Puisi-puisi tersebut dikaji menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra versi Alan Swingewood yang menganggap karya sastra merupakan dokumen sosial budaya dan dapat digunakan untuk melihat suatu fenomena dalam masyarakat pada masa tersebut. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa enam puisi tersebut yang mengandung realitas sosial yang beragam. Poetry as a literary work may carry various messages about humanity and mental conditions. This study compares two poems entitled Reflection and Anxiety, which are inspired by the psychological aspects of a human being. The poems were written by Lang Leav, a female writer who gained popularity through her poetry and prose. By applying the descriptive method in literary research, the comparison of the two poem's narratives resulted in two findings. First, the similarities between the two poems are revealed by the psychological issues depicted by unusual diction, particularly suggestive phrases, parallelism and repetition to reinforce the message, and antithesis to characterize the paradoxical position. Second, the distinction was identified from the psychological concept demonstrating the emotion established in the poem. The poem "Reflection" shows that when a person can feel calm, they can advise themself to face different life's obstacles. On the other hand, the poem "Anxiety" describes the psychological disorder that often exists and must be met by compromising the weaknesses and strengths of anxiety.

It is not surprising that the publication of early prose in Indonesia, which at that time was still under colonial rule, namely in the mid-19 th century, was essentially similar to the "fiksi mini" that has been developing in Indonesia in recent years. Thus, this paper is an attempt to straighten out and trace the dynamics of the flash fictions which have been published in Indonesia since more than a century ago. Because of this tracking will, reading of the flash fictions that have been published is a must. From the data obtained, several "fiksi mini" were used which were clearly able to confirm the existence of flash fictions which could be said to have been ahead of its time. Facts like this are results that are worth caring about considering that the present atmosphere has existed in the past. This kind of literary reality reaffirms the understanding that literary works in particular, whatever their form, have the power to enter the future unconsciously or not on purpose. In form, what happens is the tacit proclamation of a genre, for example, while in content it is usually concerned with some sort of natural forecast or prediction.

Interlocutor reference and deferential relations in Indonesian broadcast talk Dwi Noverini Djenar <h1> Introduction Speakers of Indonesian use a range of terms to refer to themselves and their interlocutor in conversation. These include kin terms, pronouns, names and titles. Among these, kin terms (followed by name or on their own) and pronouns are the most ubiquitous; they are widely used in acts of interlocutor reference across the Indonesian regions where the language is used. The kin terms people use when speaking Indonesian are of various origins. Terms of Malay origin such as adik 'younger sibling, kakak 'older sibling', abang 'older brother', and Javanese terms ibu 'mother', and bapak 'father', mbak 'older sister' and mas 'older brother' all have a wide currency. Pronouns commonly used for denoting speaker and addressee roles such as aku 'I' (Malay, Javanese), saya 'I' (grammaticalised from Sanskrit noun sahãya 'companion, follower'), Malay kamu 'you' and a mid-century coinage, anda 'you' are broadly differentiated based on the indexical contrast between "personal/intimate" and "public", and implications for "politeness", "intimacy" or "distance" that the use of these pronouns in acts of reference can generate. Agha (2007, 352) mentions that the referential effects of kin term usage derive from the alignment between denotational and interactional variables. When a kin term is used in interaction to identify the particular relation denoted by the term, the term is denotationally correct, but when it is used to identify non-kin relations, as in acts of metaphoric kinship, it is denotationally incongruous but may be interactionally effective. This pre-experimental study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the lapbook and its effect on students’ reading comprehension mastery. A cluster random sampling was used to select the participants, the eighth-grade students of MTs Negeri 02 Pontianak. The data was collected by using tests. Try out was conducted to validate the test. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to know the process and result caused by the implementation of the wapbook which was elaborated into three main procedures; pretest, treatments, and post-test. The data analysis shows that the lapbook implementation affected the students’ reading comprehension achievement. The mean score from pre-test was 53.51 and the means score of the post-test was 71.89. Cooperative learning is a learning method in which students with different learning abilities are conditioned to work together in a group to achieve the same learning goals. Johnson, Johnson, and Smith (2013) added that in cooperative learning students can work together and maximize their learning. This study aims to explore what students&#39; cognitive perspectives have experienced when learning English in the classroom using the cooperative learning method. The data collection technique used was semi-structured interviews conducted on three students as participants in this study. The data was processed qualitatively using thematic analysis. The findings of this study indicate positive things based on students&#39; learning experiences using cooperative learning methods, namely, among others, students are able to find partners who can support and increase their effectiveness in learning and also the emergence of responsibility in learning achievement.

This study is set to investigate the purposes behind interruptions and the meanings of silences in conversations. The data are taken from three casual conversations among friends. To analyze the data, the recorded conversations are first transcribed based on Jefferson’s the Glossary of Transcript Symbols (Jefferson, 2004). The transcribed conversations are analyzed using turn-taking approach in Conversation Analysis. To interpret the results of analysis, inferential method is applied. As the findings, the writers find that speakers interrupt for two purposes: to complete turns and to cut them. To go deeper, speakers interrupt when they have shared knowledge and/or similar perspective on something. In terms of silence, the meanings behind it are highly dependent on what are uttered prior to or after the occurrence of silence. Teen-lit is one of the teenage novel genres. Teen-lit comes from the word teen and lit which means literature or written works. Teenlit novel means written works made by teenager telling stories revolved in teenagers' life. This research aims at knowing how many and what types of code mixing are found inside the novel, along with the pedagogic aspects in it. The subjects of the research are chick-lit teenlit genre entitled Aviredie by Alline, Grow up! by Sucia Ramadhani, Pertama kalinya! by Sitta Karina and Oppa and I by Orizuka and Lia Indra; and lad-lit teen lit genre entitled Hidden agenda by Jacob Julian, Marmut merah jambu by Raditya Dika, School of chemistry by Al Dhimas. The research method is qualitative method. The research results show that teen-lit mostly use more of outer code mixing in English as their speech rather than inner code mixing in their mother tongue (Indonesia), and mostly contains of social, cultural and moral paedagogic aspects. Educators especially English teacher can use this teen lit novels as one of the teaching materials.

This research deals with an analysis of illocutionary act in Gita's utterance on YouTube. The objective of this study is to find the types of illocutionary act in Gita's utterance on YouTube. In collecting data, the writer collected and analyzed through the techniques of discourse analysis. In analysis data, the writer used framework Searle's (2005) speech acts. The result of the study found out two types of speech acts such as representative and expressive. Lirik lagu atau syair lagu sebagai bagian dari genre puisi, sangat menarik untuk diteliti. Kemenarikan sebuah lirik lagu bukan hanya terletak pada indahnya syair yang menyertai, melainkan struktur dan makna teksnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji struktur dan makna teks lagu-lagu berbahasa Indonesia yang muncul decade 60-70-an yang mengambil tema bunga. This research aims to describe the use of diction and language style of the song lyric by Didi Kempot. Sources of data obtained from the album Best Campursari, success album Vol.3, and Romantic Javanese. The study, which used in this research, is the overview of Ethnography. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. The data collection is done by two techniques: (1) listen and (2) record. The object of research was the song lyric by Didi Kempot. A data analysis technique in this research was an interactive model. The analysis of the research included four phases, namely: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) presentation of data, and (4) verification / conclusion.
