Although it has been an almost ubiquitous discourse from ancient times to the present, satirists and critics do not agree on a single definition of satire. A synthetic definition of satire could be reached through a critical survey of its various definitions. Accordingly, satire is a discursive practice in a Foucauldian sense to which four elements, with varying degrees, are essential: attack or aggression, laughter or humor, play, and judgment. Defining satire as a Foucauldian discourse allows the critical analysis of its interactions with other discourses within respective power structures. Therefore, a general discursive model of satire is deduced according to which the discourse of satire not only shapes, but is also shaped by, five major discourses-namely discourses of economy, politics, morality, patriarchy, as well as learning and knowledgethrough their negotiations and transactions within specific epistemes.

Rhetoric is the art of public speaking and it has played a substantial role in politics throughout history. The concept of rhetoric is elaborated in classical history during the times of the Greeks and Romans. It is the main tool philosophers employed to educate their students and was so effective, that even now, their teachings are still being pondered.

C.L. Khatri left for Heaven on March 20, 2021 leaving behind him a legacy- the legacy of criticism, of poetry and above all of editing. There are a few poets who see the criticism of their poetry collections while living.

Abstract
Indian women writers and their works post 2015 : An Overview

          The rate of literacy among the women in India was abysmally low at the time of Independence. But it grew steadily afterwards and during the past few decades, the number of educated women has risen exponentially. As a consequence, the growth of women writers has also grown, writing both in the mother tongue and in English language. In the first two decades after Independence, there were only few writers who rather dared to write in English. But during the seventies and eighties of the last century, a number of such writers made their presence felt on the Indian literary firmament. This sudden spurt in the appearance of women writers was further augmented in the last two decades when many a talented and young women writers entered the scene. They developed their own style and language, particularly suited to the audience at home.  This study is focused on such writers contributing in the field of fiction, especially novels and short stories, since 2015 till date. A prima facie gleaning of their works shows immense promise.

Editor's Introduction:
In Mohamed Eno’s poems, the world of myth and folk tales interact with the "real" world, so that each seems to breach the boundaries of the other: the effect is disturbing, and thought-provoking. Drawing on representations and stories of evil in southern Somalia, Eno creates a world which seems to come without the insulation that myths and tales provide, without the reassurance that there is a storyteller in control. Both poems offer narratives that do not resolve themselves, or that end only in a reduplication of the crisis that sets the narrative in motion: the goose that appears in a graveyard prefigures a vicious king, who has already come: the story is already over, with us, in it. A leader’s burial is pre-empted by a half-human/half-crocodile, who stands watch over the corpse, until the corpse too turns into a hybrid human/animal, as the story continues to replicate itself. Narrative seems to fall apart in these poems, or to obliterate it. It is intolerance that seems to undo old stories, and turn them into hybrids that ward off interpretation, that leave us in the uninterpretable now.
