Air Pollution in Cities

Biological diversity is an extensive use as for the natural resources, providing habitat to the animals and plants also to ensure the sustainability for the ecosystem. Studies of communities scrutinize how populations of many species interact with one another, such as predators and their prey, or competitors that share common needs or resources. Therefore, the sustainability of the ecosystem is needed that contamination of an environment should be avoided in order to sustain the common needs or resources provided by the nature. This essay examines the contamination in the cities of Malaysia by knowing the causes and the solutions to pollution that occur in Malaysia. First, the essay discusses the types of pollution that is exposed to the environment manifest by the Journal of Environment Health and The Ministry of Health.  Second, the origin of the pollution issues consisting irresponsible community and bad practices in throwing rubbish, widespread conventional constructional of industrial building and the smokes of motor vehicles. The solutions are apply a responsibility attitude by throwing garbage in a garbage bin, have an industrialized building construction system using environment friendly technology, environmental friendly vehicle or using carpooling method.

<p>يعيش العالم اليوم على وقع تداعيات التلوث المناخي الذي طال كافة مناحي الحياة، ويحاول جاهدا الوصول إلى حلول لمواجهة هذه الظاهرة، وتعتبر المدن أحد أهم مصادر التلوث حيث تساهم في زيادة درجة التلوث على سطح الكوكب بشكل كبير. ولا يخفى على أحد ما يسببه هذا الأخير من أخطار على سكان المدن حيث أشارت دراسة أعدها معهد أبحاث الآثار الصحية في ولاية ماساتشيوستس الأمريكية إلى أن سكان المدن المزدحمة يعيشون بشكل أقل بسبب انعكاسات التلوث على الصحة. ومن هنا يعتبر البحث عن حلول لهذه الظاهرة والتخفيف من حدتها أمر حتميا لضمان سبل عيش أكثر أمنا لسكان المدن باعتبارهم المتضرر الأول من هذه الظاهرة.<br /> وتبرز أهمية القوانين والتشريعات الدولية والمحلية الخاصة بتخطيط المدن، مع أخذ البعد البيئي بعين الاعتبار، باعتباره المنظم لسلوك البشر اتجاه البيئة الحضرية التي يعيشون فيها، والمقيد جزئيا لتصرفاتهم. وتهدف هذه الورقة للتركيز على أهمية القوانين والتشريعات العمرانية في الحد من ظاهرة التلوث البيئي بكل أنواعه من خلال النموذج الجزائري الذي يعتبر من التجارب الرائدة في هذا المجال. فبعد استعراض بعض التجارب العالمية حول هذا الموضوع والبحث في نتائجها، تعتمد الورقة على المنهج التحليلي في دراسة واقع القوانين المعتمدة وكيفيات تطبيقها، والعوائق التي تواجهها. كما تحاول الورقة في النهاية إبراز بعض النتائج والتوصيات التي من شأنها زيادة فعالية التشريعات العمرانية وتعزيز دورها في تحقيق تنمية عمرانية مستدامة.</p>

The present study shows that chlorophyll content was found to be higher in plants grown under tree canopy in comparison to open light exposed plants.
