This study examines the relationship between Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices and performance within public research institutions in Kenya. With the increasing need for better performance and accountability in the public sector, the research highlights the importance of collaborative relationships among supply chain entities. It discusses various definitions of supply chain and SCM, emphasizing the need for effective integration to achieve customer satisfaction and competitive advantage. The findings underscore the necessity for public organizations to adopt effective SCM practices to improve overall performance.
