Cloud Computing: What, How and Why

The demand in computing and Internet has been increasing since the day of invention. The continuous increase in needs of computerised infrastructure and internet framework has led to big demands for computer experts. In the present day there is a big implementation of hardware along with software. Although has been a significant improvement in reducing the size of hardware and increasing the capacity of software (Moore's Law), still on a global scale the requirement of big hardware implementation and availability of software as an easy service is still to reach. To give this a solution the concept of cloud computing is introduced.

The internet is marvelous technology of the computing world. The most exhaustive technology that internet dispense, is the Cloud Computing. It provides instrumental values to the customers and cloud service providers. With the advent of cloud computing the client uses the resources like hardware, software or storage, that are offered by other organization, instead of buying their own resources. However, these cloud services are provided by the cloud service providers by means of virtual machines. This study proposed the various aspects related to cloud computing technology. This paper includes the service model that reveals the various cloud services provides to different types of clients according to their requirements. This study provides the details of the layers in the architecture of cloud computing. Moreover, this study also includes the information about the various types of clouds.

Cloud Computing is becoming the most reliable and efficient way to share hardware, software and platform in form of services via Internet. The elastic nature of cloud computing has attracted all strata of business enterprises ranging from small scale to large scale organizations such as Google, IBM, Amazon and the list goes on. Cloud computing provides huge computing services to the business for improving the organizational growth. Basic requirement needed for this technology is Internet but provides higher capability when compared to the Internet. Cloud computing is a combination of computation, software, data access and also provides storage services. In Cloud, storage of data and the location of stored data are not known to the user. Cloud computing adopts the concept of virtualization, service oriented architecture, autonomic, and utility computing. The cloud has more advantages and easy to implement with any business logics. Cloud delivers services from different data sources and servers located on different geographical location but the user gets single point of view from the cloud service.

Cloud computing are distributed processing, parallel processing and the development of grid computing, the concept was jointly proposed by Google and IBM in 2007. Cloud computing refers to a network that distributes processing power, applications, and large systems among many computers. Social media channels and many other applications use cloud computing as their platform. Cloud computing, the aim is to hide the complexity of IT infrastructure management from its users. At the same time, cloud computing platforms provide massive scalability, 99.999% reliability, high performance, and specifiable configurability. These capabilities are provided at relatively low costs compared to dedicated infrastructures. Cloud computing is a complex infrastructure of software, hardware, processing, and storage that is available as a service. This paper discuss regarding the study of the basic concepts of cloud computing technology, core technology, several different types of clouds services, target dimensionand challenges of cloud computing in current and future.

Today is the era of Cloud Computing Technology in IT Industries. Cloud computing which is based on Internet has the most powerful architecture of computation. It reckons in of a compilation of integrated and networked hardware, software and internet infrastructure. It has various avails atop grid computing and other computing. In this paper, I have given a brief of evaluation of cloud computing by reviewing more than 30 articles on cloud computing. The outcome of this review signalizes the face of the IT industries before and after the cloud computing.

As a result of the research processing in the computing field, a new computing model appeared based on the development of many computing models such as parallel computing, distributed computing, and grid computing. Many normal distributed computers collaborate of achieve a function like a super computer. The computation will be assigned to this super computer rather than local computer or remote server. This is the basic concept of cloud computing. However, there is a new implementation of cloud computing was introduced based on using the internet millions of computers connected to a super cloud. Cloud computing has several advantages such as; user does not need to worry about how the cloud runs, viruses, maintenance, etc. We would expect that cloud computing is going to reshape the IT industry. In this paper we discuss cloud computing from different angles such as concept, characteristics and classifications of cloud computing.
