IRJET- College Management Android System using Firebase

Breeze is a new Android Application which provides a common, easy to use platform for college students for better interaction with fellow students, faculty and administration. This work has unique and helpful feature of queries, where students can put up their queries and anyone can answer their queries. For keeping a check over inappropriate posts a feature of report is also provided which tells admin about inappropriate posts and actions could be taken over it accordingly. It also provides user a help option which helps user with any information regarding labs, faculty and lecture halls. Breeze also provides a platform where user can view daily updates of his attendance and syllabus. Breeze app works fluently as it is based on online database system firebase. It has secure login features, and also allows login through Facebook and Google. It also provides basic features like changing password, changing profile picture, retrieving forgotten password. In all, it is an all in one application which has all the features to solve the basic problems of college students.

As the development of technology is increasing rapidly, the use of mobile phones have also been increased in our day to day life. Today’s scenario is that mobiles are very useful in everybody’s day to day life. Mobile phones are being used everywhere, hence for educational institute we propose an application that will eliminate the role of manual notice board which we see in educational institute. As often seen that student avoids reading notice board frequently. Thus we are developing a system that will display all the notice board content on it. This paper focuses on penetration of mobile apps. For security purpose to secure the authentication of user, to maintain integrity we are using the Armstrong number to encrypt the data with cryptography.

In this world of digitalization of education there has been the least privacy and efforts required in-terms of materials being shared and their availability, also the access to these materials at one spot is a prime problem faced by students. This android application E-Repository will surely act a savior with secured access given to materials they require and all at one place also the management of these notes is a go to easy feature that is added to this application

In this era of technology, it is needed for us to be wittier than technology and upgrade with time, in every university or college it is a rigorous task to take attendance, create timetables, show timetables, and show student marks. Previously register was used to mark attendance then with technology MS excel and other applications came in and made attendance much easier to store but it is not enough now we need more efficiency and more functionality in one place. In this paper we provide an efficient way to solve all this using a web application as well as a mobile application for students to view their attendance and teachers to mark their attendance by face recognition and can check marks, and upload marks, Students can check their attendance by selecting a particular date, and teachers can check attendance for a particular student on which date they are present, and attendance for each student will be marked in that slot for the day, also the teacher can fetch the detail of thos...

ExamPrep has been developed with an intention to cater to various needs of the students. This application serves as a digital library and can be used to access various e-resources which are provided by the college like question papers and study material in pdf formats. The application has been developed especially for the Android Operating System and uses Google Firebase as a backend for data storage and manipulation. The user interface (UI) has been designed with a special focus on ease of access and so that the application can be installed on older and less powerful devices as well, ensuring that each and every student can use this application. The application also provides a facility of uploading resources to the application and can be done by both faculty and students. Apart from that, the application also uses Chrome Custom Tabs and provides an in-app browser. The 'Other Features' section of the application provides various useful links that can be accessed through these custom tabs. In the future the application shall receive various updates and the application has been designed for further expansion and increased functionality.

With the advancement in technology, higher expectations of productivity and quality of work there is a need for faster dissemination of information. At the college we rely on traditional means of communication heavily. This limits us in our ability to make most of the time, effort and resource. Connected, personalized, intelligent information appliances are becoming increasingly important in our personal and professional lives. Although a dedicated platform is not required, the current means of communication available to us at the college are time-consuming, inefficient, cause redundancy and require unnecessary manual labor which can be easily prevented with the application. The application is being specially developed with academia in perspective hence will prove to be of more use than just a communication channel.

- In Today's world, Android is one of the most widely used technologies. It is being used in various fields like gaming, communication, social media, shopping, and daily organization, etc. There is one more field where android technology is being used such as public services like Police, Hospital/Ambulance, Fire, Transportation, and Food/Restaurants, etc. Their existing applications or web services which provide these services to user but through different application. The existing system are developed using simple SMS facility. Here, propose a system which is not only based on SMS facility, but also include Internet Based facilities like Wi-Fi, GPRS, and GPS, etc. Now days, security is an essential component for user, so we have also provided security as well as anonymity. The development of information systems is done so that the system gets better performance and is more in line with the wishes of users. However, until now there is no academic information system for UIN Sunan Kalijaga specifically developed based on mobile. In fact, mobile technology is currently growing very rapidly in Indonesia. Based on the Nielsen survey as of May 2011, the number of mobile device users in Indonesia reached 125 million out of the 238 million population. For this reason, it is necessary to develop the Academic Information System of UIN Sunan Kalijaga based on mobile, especially Android. The system development methodology used in this study is SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). The steps are Analysis of system requirements, system design, and design, system implementation, testing, and evaluation. This research results an application that can be used to access academic information, such as schedule to attend the lecture, schedule of examination, card of yield study, presence and history of performance index. The special thing of this application is user still can see the academic information although offline with some condition.
