Cloud computing is an environment where virtual resources are shared among many users over a network. Efficient resource allocation is crucial to minimize costs, especially as task requests increase and delays become problematic. Fog computing serves as a layer between clients and cloud services, significantly reducing transmission delays. This paper presents an algorithm for task scheduling in the fog layer that prioritizes tasks based on their urgency, ensuring deadlines are met and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
