Abstract
As the race for global industrialization begin late in 18 th century, the developing technology made humans to depend on energy, so as the energy crisis begins, in this modern era, electricity become a most essential need of human beings, from household to industrial work. So, the purpose of the project is to generate electricity without using non-renewable resources and pollution. Since, renewable standalone energy generation system have disadvantages, which need to be overcame by hybrid systems. Wind and solar energy have being popular ones owing to abundant, ease of availability and convertibility to the electric energy. This work covers realization of hybrid energy system for multiple applications, which runs under a designed circuitry to utilize the solar and wind power. And a designed circuitry for more efficient results, and inverters to convert the electrical energy as per demand.

The electrification world map shows that the rural areas are in great need of affordable & reliable electricity to achieve development. According to the World Bank's 2017 State of Electricity Access Report, 1.06 billion people still do not have access to electricity and 3.04 billion people still rely on solid fuels and kerosene for cooking and heating. The Renewable Energy Sources (RES) are one of the most suitable and environmental friendly solution to provide electricity in the rural areas. Wind and solar PV costs were lower and long-term contracts in some countries were in the range $60-80 for onshore wind and $80-100 for utility scale solar PV. The merit of renewable energy technologies are flexible, modular and can be used in various configurations, ranging from those that are grid-connected to those that are off-grid. This paper describes the implementation of Wind – Solar Hybrid system with power converters.
The oil shocks of 1970s led to spiraling crude oil prices in the world market which prompted planners to view energy security as an issue of national strategic importance. Energy security has an important bearing on achieving national economic development goals and improving the quality of life of the people. World's dependence on crude oil will continue for most part of the 21st century but the continued dependence on crude oil is loaded against it with inherent price volatility linked to finite global reserves. In addition, global warming, caused largely by greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel energy generating systems, is also a major concern. So, there is a need to develop alternate fuels like non-conventional sources, considering the aforesaid two concerns. This paper describes about the hybrid (solar + wind energy) systems, one of the non-conventional sources and different ways of using it to convert to electric energy. This gives energy continuously around the clock. Hybrid systems are use full for all atmospheric conditions for producing energy at moderate cost.
Energy demand always lags energy supply in developing countries, which results in energy crisis. The conventional energy sources are finite and exhaustible. The solution to problem of energy crisis is utilization of renewable energy. Renewable energy sources are usually found in small scale, decentralized with regard to different geographical distribution, transition to renewable energy sources is viable option as the price of oil and gas continues to fluctuate. As an alternative to custom, onsite construction of centralized power plants, renewable systems based on PV arrays, windmills, Biofuel energy based systems or small hydropower, can be mass-produced " energy appliances " capable of being manufactured at low cost and tailored to meet specific energy loads and service conditions. , to make optimum utilization of renewable energy there exists a need to integrate the different renewable energy systems. The present work involves development of Renewable Energy based hybrid system for electricity generation that can supply desired power continuously throughout the year irrespective of fluctuation of energy available from standalone systems. The energy assessment has been done using Homer simulation tool for developing small solar-wind hybrid system, performance evaluation has been done.

This paper proposes a hybrid power generation system using Solar and Wind energy. It is fact that energy is an important resource for any country in the world to develop economically strong in all aspects. Without energy one cannot sustain the life such as transportation from one place to another, home needs, industrial purposes etc., More than 80% world energy consumption is produced by using fossil fuels it is estimated that the fossil fuel reserves will end by 2250.However this technology is already existed in two different forms, but we are giving the two technologies in one place. Most probably concentrating on the wind turbine blade design by using readily available PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) pipes. It is easy to get them into required size and shape by following design considerations. It is household usage purpose project which is available at low cost compared to individuals available. The reason behind combining both of them is to improve the pole efficiency for the same using in conventional methods.

Energy today, is the need of 21st century. The renewable energy resources therefore are used in tremendous amount as they are easily available and cost free. But these energies in standalone forms have disadvantages such as unpredictability, availability in all time etc. which can be overcome by hybrid energy systems. They are basically consists of combinations of number of renewable energy resources. They provide efficient response against voltage and frequency fluctuations, harmonic measures and power issues in standalone systems.

The renewable energy sources like wind and solar energies are combined to increase the total power generation and thereby increase the efficiency of the system. The combination also provides a means to overcome the intermittent nature of the solar and wind renewable energy sources, since one source can be used for power generation when other is not available. AC-DC converters are used convert the Alternating voltage of the wind generator to a constant DC value which can be used to charge the batteries or later converted to AC voltage to drive AC loads. A Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) system using boost converter is designed to extract maximum possible power from the sun when it is available. An inverter stage is implemented using Sinusoidal Pulse width Modulation (SPWM).This method provides better harmonic reduction since Harmonic content is detrimental for the generator lifespan, heating issues, and efficiency. Simulations are carried out in matlab software and results in the...

With the rising energy demand and lack of infrastructure because of geographical condition of Pyin Kha Yaing Village, the whole village is still not interconnected to National Grid System. This village is located in Ngapudaw Township, Ayarwaddy Division. The latitude and longitude of study case is 15.980992 and 94.400207 respectively. Presently, the electrification of Pyin Kha Yaing Village is carried out by steam boiler driven generator with burning of Rice-Husk. With this source, total average consumption is observed as 3.4 MWh/D. Instead of steam boiler generator driven, Solar-Generation system is employed for this place. A simulation model for wind-solar hybrid system is developed using the Matlab/Simulation software. The proposed model is combination of Wind Energy System, Photovoltaic (PV) array, Converter, Battery storage and inverter. The simulation model of solar wind hybrid system for selected region is presented.
