Abstract
Renewable energy sources i.e., energy generated from solar, wind, biomass, hydro power, geothermal and ocean resources are considered as a technological option for generating clean energy. This paper presents the Solar-Wind hybrid Power system that harnesses the renewable energies in Sun and Wind to generate electricity. System control relies mainly on micro controller. It ensures the optimum utilization of resources and hence improves the efficiency as compared with their individual mode of generation. This hybrid solar-wind power generating system is suitable for industries and also domestic areas.

this paper is devoted to study the conversion of renewable energy resources into electrical energy in a standalone hybrid power generation system. The hybrid system consists of a 230 kW wind turbine, a 30 kW micro-turbine and solar heaters of double-parallel flow. Solar heaters are being used to partially preheat the air entering the combustion chamber of the micro-turbine in order to decrease the amount of fuel consumption. The dynamic behavior and simulation results are being discussed to extract the maximum energy obtained from a variable speed wind power generation system. The hybrid model has been simulated under several wind speed conditions. A supervisory controller is designed that was able to manage between the maximum energy captured from the wind turbine and the generated energy by the microturbine to meet the load demands and wind power fluctuation due to wind speed variation. Solar heaters saved amount of fuel on average 15.4 U.S. Dollars/hr monthly according to the data provided in the year 2013.

Hybrid Energy System by combining solar photovoltaic and wind turbine as a small scale alternative sources of electrical energy at where conventional generation is not practical. A simple PWM control technique has been proposed for maximum power point tracking from the photovoltaic array and wind turbine under varying climatic conditions without measuring the irradiance of the photovoltaic or the wind speed. Description of the proposed hybrid system along with simulation results which ascertain its feasibility are given to demonstrate the availability of the proposed system in this project. In this project, a stand-alone solar wind hybrid system consisting of a photovoltaic (PV) array, battery bank, wind turbine, and a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG), two boost DC-DC converters.
In this paper we studied the various renewable energy resources & which will be used for the development of electricity. The main source of energy is solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy. This paper provides a review on the hybrid power generation i.e. combination of two or more energy sources. The hybrid power generation systems will in turn be used for charging the batteries. The Hybrid (Wind / hydro / solar) system is more economical, environmental friendly. The power generation capacity of hybrid system is more than the power generation capacity of the individual system. The results showing the power output of individual system and hybridized system obtained from Metrological Station for the period of five years 2010-2015 is used for comparison between the different hybrid systems.
Energy demand always lags energy supply in developing countries, which results in energy crisis. The conventional energy sources are finite and exhaustible. The solution to problem of energy crisis is utilization of renewable energy. Renewable energy sources are usually found in small scale, decentralized with regard to different geographical distribution, transition to renewable energy sources is viable option as the price of oil and gas continues to fluctuate. As an alternative to custom, onsite construction of centralized power plants, renewable systems based on PV arrays, windmills, Biofuel energy based systems or small hydropower, can be mass-produced " energy appliances " capable of being manufactured at low cost and tailored to meet specific energy loads and service conditions. , to make optimum utilization of renewable energy there exists a need to integrate the different renewable energy systems. The present work involves development of Renewable Energy based hybrid system for electricity generation that can supply desired power continuously throughout the year irrespective of fluctuation of energy available from standalone systems. The energy assessment has been done using Homer simulation tool for developing small solar-wind hybrid system, performance evaluation has been done.

Energy today, is the need of 21st century. The renewable energy resources therefore are used in tremendous amount as they are easily available and cost free. But these energies in standalone forms have disadvantages such as unpredictability, availability in all time etc. which can be overcome by hybrid energy systems. They are basically consists of combinations of number of renewable energy resources. They provide efficient response against voltage and frequency fluctuations, harmonic measures and power issues in standalone systems.

One of the essential requirements for socio- economic development in any country is the arrangement of reliable and adequate power supply frameworks. This work is an improvement of an indigenous innovation cross breed Solar - Wind Power framework that bridles the sustainable power sources in Sun and Wind to produce power. Here, electric DC energies delivered from photovoltaic and wind turbine frameworks are transported to a DC separate vitality Mix controller. The controller is bidirectional associated with a DC-AC drift charging-inverter framework that gives charging current to a substantial obligation stockpiling bank of Battery and in the meantime, delivers reversed AC energy to AC loads. In the outlined model, sunlight based PV module alongside a breeze turbine, the little model to make control. The half and half setup could be worked in manual and programmed modes. The previous mode comprises of a RF transmitter and recipient setup and the last is adequately controlled by metho...
