ORGANIC PHILOSOPHY -INTELLECTUAL PHILOSOPHY
Abstract
The discussions of intellectual philosophy began in Egypt and with the Sumerians, before Socrates and Aristotle. In that regard, nothing has changed in the 2,500-year history of philosophical discussion of ethics. When we examine that history, which includes very recent history, the process of philosophical discussion has remained the same, based on “what the opinions of philosophers”. Putting a label on intellectual, philosophical discussion leaves us with several related words — speculative theories of conjecture. Organic philosophical theories of ethics, on the other hand, are based on the seven universal and timeless motivation-values from the genetic instructions of the Homo sapiens species and have been for over 200,000 years. These seven motivation-values provide the foundation for developing universal and timeless ethical and moral rules of decision-making. Because organic philosophies are complemental to organic theories of ethics and human motivation, their impact upon the social sciences is immense. These same theories and philosophies cause those fields of study to become proactively actionable for the benefit of individuals, families, and communities. Their effect will produce societies that move toward maturing development, social evolution, and peace. The characteristics of these genetic-motivation values, being universal and timeless as our species, provide an irreducible foundation for a timeless theory of ethics. They can be considered as SOCIAL CONSTANTS similar in function as the mathematical and geometric constants of the physical sciences. The great importance of such social constants to the social sciences can be quickly appreciated in the AI industries, which need more than speculative theories about human motivation to provide sound advice and guidance to decision-makers. What is provided here will fully empower A.I. to truly become humanity’s helpmate to survive and thrive another 200,000 years. ##
