Measurement of Social Status in Experimental Games

Abstract

Аннотация. Значительная часть социальных и экономических взаимодействий происходит между людьми с разным социальным статусом. В силу возраста, должности, достатка или других причин люди по-разному оценивают свое положение в обществе. В данной работе мы исследуем, насколько восприятие человеком своего социального статуса может формироваться в ходе участия в экспериментальной экономической игре. В нашем эксперименте участники в парах последовательно играют в игры «Диктатор», «Доверие» и «Трудовой контракт». После каждой игры мы измеряем их субъективный экономико-социальный статус, используя две шкалы. Мы показываем, что наиболее сильно на восприятие собственного статуса влияет участие в игре «Диктатор»: статус у игравших роль распределителя значимо выше, чем у игравших роль получателя. Распределение ролей в остальных играх не показывает такого эффекта. На субъективный статус также влияют объективные характеристики респондентов: уверенное поведение, пол, материальное благосостояние и т.д.
