A special relationship: a study on teacher-student encounters

This study discusses the relations of belonging at school between supervisors and teachers, aiming to analyze in which relational group these authors belong more strongly. The Theory of Social Representations guided the research, in view of its construction processes, anchoring and objectification, to be closely linked to belonging, making the strange, familiar. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured and in-depth interviews distributed by: Classification by Elements of Meaning, Lexical Content Analysis and Thematic Analysis. The results point out, among other factors, that the construction of representations by social groups makes the stranger known to the subjects, pointing to belonging to the group of people or to the place, in addition, belonging is in the self and the other's recognition as part of the same group, not only based on affection, but on partnership, sharing and exchange of professional knowledge.

Objetivo: Conhecer a perspectiva docente sobre a relação pedagógica com os estudantes e, identificar as principais manifestações no domínio relacional. Métodos: Estudo descritivo e exploratório de abordagem qualitativa, com a participação de 12 professores de nutrição e a coleta de dados por meio de entrevistas realizadas um a um e roteiro semi-estruturado. Através da análise de conteúdo temática, as categorias foram identificadas. Resultados: A maioria dos professores, 58%, avaliou a relação como bem sucedida e 42% malsucedida. Foram consideradas atitudes positivas: diálogo, participação, responsabilidade e reconhecimento; e negativas: passividade, resistência às novas abordagens pedagógicas e desinteresse. Educational institutions play an essential role in the expansion of culture and students’ professionalization. Educational institutions are terrains where students and teachers read the world together, and the knowledge on which they concentrate their efforts can convey dreams, utopias, and social fights. A contrast is made between examples taken from education in Germany, Mexico, and reflections from a student movement in Hungary. A teacher can be a social agent who, through his or her pedagogical practice and help of the classroom dynamics, moves students to transform their realities by making an ethical-political commitment to the societies to which they belong. This practice should or can be ascribed to teachers in conditions of poverty, repression, and violence such as the rural teachers. It can also be practiced by those who, by their craft, seek to give meaning to life collectively as a form of emancipation, resistance, and love to face the adversities of our times.

The present study aims to observe how the relation between teachers and students go in terms of the contemporary conceptual binomial of discipline/indiscipline This brief study also has the purpose of searching knowledge to point out some possible strategies as to building discipline in face of a new concept in the classroom and how to confront manifestations of indiscipline, it's definition and the exam of the student's and teacher's consciousness as to this phenomenon and it's consequences. For that intent a field research was made with the objective of verifying what are their views, if there are and what are the differences and similitudes between their concepts and procedures adopted when it comes to the main theme: discipline and indiscipline. Once with that indication it becomes more precise the direction as to what procedures should be adopted so that the relationship and knowledge acquisition is enriched. In the end there are suggested procedures related to working methods in building a new concept of discipline in the classroom.

O foco deste trabalho está nas relações estabelecidas em aula entre uma jovem professora universitária iniciante na carreira e seus alunos de graduação. Considerando que a sala de aula é um lugar de excelência da relação professor-alunos, a partir dela e dos sujeitos que a compõem, buscamos perceber e analisar as formas e modos dessas relações estabelecidas especificamente por uma professora iniciante, de idade próxima a de seus alunos e que recentemente estava na condição de estudante. Os dados discutidos foram coletados através de observações de aulas, de questionários aplicados a uma turma de graduação e de uma entrevista com a jovem professora universitária iniciante na carreira. Os fundamentos teóricos que permitiram a interlocução com os dados estão pautados em Libâneo (1993), Feixas (2002), Bozu (2009) e Marcelo Garcia (2009). Dentre os resultados apontamos: ser jovem é um desafio para a atuação docente da professora; a proximidade de idade entre professora e alunos afeta as relações estabelecidas entre eles; a jovem professora, muitas vezes, remete-se às suas vivências estudantis, o que pode fazer com que a relação professor-alunos seja mais próxima e acolhedora.

Resumo: Considerando a importância do entendimento da influência triádica entre ciência, tecnologia e sociedade (CTS) para uma participação cidadã mais ativa e democrática, busca-se aqui investigar os resultados encontrados em uma questão do Questionário de Opiniões sobre Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (QOCTS), do Projeto Ibero-americano de Avaliação de Atitudes Relacionadas com Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (PIEARCTS 1), que trata das múltiplas interações CTS. A questão foi aplicada a estudantes da educação básica e do ensino superior em tecnólogo de gestão ambiental e a professores do Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET). RESUMO Este trabalho apresenta algumas reflexões sobre a relação afetiva entre o professor e o aluno no processe de ensino e de aprendizagem. A abordagem dos assuntos permeia através do conceito de relacionamento afetivo no sentido de proporcionar atenção àquilo que afeta um ser, seja de maneira negativa ou positiva. Posicionamentos afetivos que enxerguem os alunos integralmente em seus aspectos emocionais, motores, culturais e sociais. Dentro desse contexto, à luz do século vinte e um as discussões sobre afetividade no ambiente escolar torna-se uma situação problema, uma vez que as crianças e adolescentes estão chegando às escolas com uma carência afetiva cada vez maior por vários motivos. Com base nisso, é fundamental que o professor compreenda que a sua função de estimular ou inibir a aprendizagem de maneira positiva depende do clima de parceria, para que a afetividade na produção do conhecimento desperte o total interesse do aluno. ABSTRACT This work presents some reflections on the affective relationship between the teacher and the student in the teaching and learning process. The approach of the subject permeates through the concept of affective relationship in the sense of providing attention to what affects a being, either in a positive or negative. Affective positioning that see students fully in their emotional, cultural, motor and social aspects. In this context, the light of the twenty-first century to the discussions about affectivity in the school environment becomes a problem situation. Since the children and teenagers school are arriving with a growing lack of affection for several reasons. Based on this, it is fundamental that the teachers understand that his function of stimulating or inhibiting learning in a positive way on the climate of partnership, so that affectivity in the production of knowledge arouses the student's total interest.
