Abstract
This essay has as its purpose to outline the conceptual structure upon which we can detail the items, entities, relationships, and field interactions by which God the Heavenly Parent and Creator imbued with the Universal Parental Heart from the very beginning in a transcendental conceptual realm could bring about our material universe and also interact with it constructively, dynamically, and purposefully.

Is the universe ultimately meaningful, ordered to an end of transcendental value? Knowing God: The Ultimate Meaningfulness of the Universe argues that mathematical physics, because it describes rather than explaining, is radically incapable of answering this question. The book argues for a new research paradigm which, while incorporating and building on the description of the universe supplied by mathematical physics, goes beyond it, restoring teleological explanation.

This thesis is an investigation of the image of God arising from understandings of quantum science and argues that it enhances ideas about God. It considers the significance of religious interpretations of quantum science and briefly examines the case of Christian theology and God's actions in the world. The nature of quantum phenomena requires the use of imagery likened to that used in many mystical and religious traditions. Using a multivalued approach, I give equitable consideration to multiple scientific and theological interpretations to describe the God-concept presented by sources writing on the mystical implications of quantum science. The quantum demands an intellectual and academic openness, requiring the use of resources outside of science, and pushes for a holistic approach and a transition to a postmodern paradigm. Therefore, the quantum is said to be a re-enchanting force, calling for a re-evaluation of the spiritual dimension in our overall understanding of reality.

This essay provides a parallel study of the meaning of the term energy in Orthodox theology (particularly in such figures as John Damascene, Maximus the Confessor, and Gregory Palamas) and physics (particularly in the work of Niels Bohr and Albert Einstein, as well ...
(Prerequisite: Phi 1000c). This metaphysics course will take up the three questions of the trilogy of our required philosophy courses: What is reality? Who am I? and, What shall I do (with my life)? We will use the insights of our major philosophers, scientists, and religious teachers both to answer these three questions and to lend support to the main thesis of the course, namely: We are living through an incredible " transitional " period of human history that is taking us into " a fully healed and functioning world beyond what we can possibly imagine. " We are in the midst of a Consciousness revolution and global paradigm shift that is changing science, religion, politics, health, relationships—everything. The course will consider the overwhelming evidence for this and its profound implications. Our main texts will be (1) Hegel's philosophical masterpiece, The Phenomenology of Spirit, which ends in " Absolute Knowledge " and has been called " the book that ended history " ; and (2) The Jedi Handbook of Global Education, which will apply " absolute knowledge " (of the Force or Point) to our present world situation and show how one can achieve self-realization, live their greatest life, and help heal our ailing planet.
Drawing on quantum field theory (explained very simply) and the ancient spiritual meaning of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet known as Qabala, I offer a brief view of the way spirit and matter come together.

This article interprets Newton’s De gravitatione as presenting a reductive account of substance, on which divine and created substances are identified with their characteristic attributes, which are present in space. God is identical to the divine power to create, and mind to its characteristic power. Even bodies lack parts outside parts, for they are not constructed from regions of actual space, as some commentators suppose, but rather consist in powers alone, maintained in certain configurations by the divine will. This interpretation thus specifies Newton’s meaning when he writes that bodies subsist ‘through God alone’; yet bodies do qualify as substances, and divine providence does not extend so far as occasionalism.
