Forecasting crude oil prices is essential but usually involves a difficult process. In this paper, we proposed a hybrid Genetic Algorithm and Fast Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (GA-FEEMD) for forecasting crude oil price time series data. The proposed GA-FEEMD basically involves three steps. Firstly, we decomposed the original crude oil price time series data into two Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs) using FEEMD algorithm. Then, we forecasted the second IMF which basically is the intrinsic trend of the crude oil prices. Then, we applied Genetic Algorithm (GA) to obtain the stopping criterion in the FEEMD process. The hybrid GA-FEEMD forecasting model was compared with ARIMA and Artificial Neural Network methods. The results showed that the proposed GA-FEEMD model improved the forecasting accuracy of the crude oil price time series data.

Sistem gaji yang di terapkan di Predator Billiard Yogyakarta masih bersifat manual dan belum ada sistem yang terkomputerisasi dalam manajemen gaji karyawan yang dapat menghemat waktu dalam pencatatan gaji, untuk itu di bangun suatu sistem penggajian untuk membantu dalam pencatatan gaji di Predator Billiard Yogyakarta. Sistem yang di kelola merupakan sistem perhitungan gaji karyawan serta bonus yang di terima berdasarkan total kehadiran dan total penjualan dalam sebulan. Sistem dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP berbasis web, dengan tujuan agar lebih mudah diakses dimana saja dan kapan saja. Selain perhitungan gaji pokok dan bonus, sistem juga mencatat pinjaman karyawan atau kasbon yang akan di akumulasikan pada akhir bulan dengan mengurangi total gaji karyawan sebersar yang pinjaman. Teaching word processing is confined to looking through some menus and showing some functions of a word processor program, although technology presents just a small part of forming layouts. This fact causes that people who are writing documents spend a lot of time by trying to form, e.g., title pages or inner pages. The present paper deals with a design of an online course on word processing that fits better the needs of many users. The online course is designed for teaching (L A)T E X by leading the students to the technical issues of the typesetting system through layout and grammar rules: demonstrates the most important basic recommendations of typography and grammar rules through samples, and shows how to program the currently displayed layout in the (L A)T E X programming languages. This methodology suits better the common working habit, and can be a useful help in word processing documents.
