Advance Automatic Breaking System for Vehicle

Abstract

An ultrasonic vehicle breaking system includes an ultrasonic wave emitter provided in a front portion of an automatic breaking vehicle producing and emitting ultrasonic waves frontward in a predetermined distance in front of the vehicle. Ultrasonic receiver also formed in a front portion of the vehicle operatively receiving a reflective ultrasonic wave signal as reflected by obstacles positioned within the predetermined distance in front of the automatic breaking vehicle. The reflected wave (detection pulse) was measured to get the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle. Then system is used to control servo motor based on detection pulse information to push pedal brake to brake the vehicle intermittently for automatically breaking the vehicle for a safe breaking purpose.

What percentage of accidents in India are attributed to bad weather conditions?add

The study highlights that nearly 36% of accidents in India occur due to bad weather conditions, including high rain and snow.

How does the emergency braking system enhance vehicle safety?add

The Emergency Braking System can apply a maximum braking deceleration of 0.4g when detecting an impending collision, significantly reducing impact severity.

What role do stereo multi-purpose cameras play in accident prevention?add

Stereo multi-purpose cameras provide spatial intelligence up to 50 meters ahead and recognize environmental elements within 500 meters to avoid potential accidents.

How does ultrasonic sensing contribute to automatic braking functionality?add

Ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles by transmitting and receiving reflected waves, triggering the braking system once a threat is identified.

What technology underpins the automatic braking system's responsiveness?add

The automatic braking system utilizes sensor data combined with algorithms to engage brakes without driver input upon imminent collision detection.
