The increasing amount of internal conflicts has put a pressure on the international community to find more efficient ways of dealing with their devastating effects. In these regards, the UN has come to recognize the importance played by Non-Governmental Organizations and Civil Society Organizations as operational bodies.

This paper will look into the policies against human trafficking of children in Indonesia. Indonesia is a major source country for trafficked persons as well as a destination and transit country, internal trafficking does take place as well (Departement of State, 2014). This paper will focus on policies made to combat trafficking in children and on the actions taken to see if the legislation is carried out or if they are just words on a paper made to satisfy the people in Washington, D.C. who write the Trafficking in Persons Report (TIP).

This report on Human Trafficking in Denmark will start out by giving some key fact about the country and some background on the current situation in Denmark when it comes to trafficking. Afterwards the report will look into how Denmark is handling prosecution of trafficking offenders, what incentives they give victims to make them stay for trial against the offenders, the report will look at the kind of protection that victims of trafficking receive from the Danish authorities, and then the prevention initiatives will be described. Finally, the writer of this report will give his own thoughts about the situation and what should be done to make it better.

The creation of the UN started a new era of international policy-making, with IGOs and INGOs in the leading role in controlling the information that the public get access to and by that, what the international community reacts to in their policy-making.

This paper seeks to compare German foreign policy at the beginning of September 2015 with the policy displayed at the beginning of November 2015 in the refugee crisis. The paper will go through news sources from various news agencies and use their description of the German policy in September and November and compare the two approaches. The researcher claims that the policy towards refugees have changed dramatically during the crisis and that crises like this refugee crisis calls for fast decision-making, as to ensure human security to the refugees and ensure internal peace in the country. This paper also seeks to understand why and how the crisis has influenced foreign policy. Neo-realistic theory will be used to put the comparison in some perspective.
