Specifically the study sought to determine the impact of Information and Communications Technology on Nigerian food production industry performance. The study adopted descriptive survey design. The participants comprised of selective Nigerian food production industry in Lagos. The study relied on data collected through questionnaires structured to meet the objectives of the study. Data was analyzed with the help of SPSS. The main findings were that, ICT had facilitated production of ad hoc reports, improved quality of work, enabled availability of reliable information on power generation and facilitated knowledge sharing and building on each other's ideas in real time. In addition, ICT had enabled Nigerian food production industry to empower its employees and facilitated employees learning. However, impact of ICT on performance is being hindered by insufficient access rights to the systems. The study recommends that the Nigerian food production industry should ensure that employees have adequate access rights to the system to enable them work comfortably. Further the management should facilitate training of employees on ICT systems so that they can have required skills and knowledge on the systems.

This research aims to examine the factor influencing spread in Malaysia securitization market . Ordinary Least square method and regression analysis are applied for the study period 2004-2012. The reason OLS was chosen because all residuals received the same importance (unweighted) regardless of how closeness or how widely spread the individual observations from the sample in the regression function. This research was developed from Vink Model and extend in developing country such as Malaysia. The result shows three determinants influence or contribute to the primary market spread that are statistically significant for Cagamas during 2007-08 US subprime crisis. As such, this study testifies transaction size, lead manager and loan to value are antecedent of securitization of Cagamas in Malaysia.

The first study investigates the Small Medium Enterprise(SME) practice of computerized accounting system(CAS) and identifies the factors affecting the adoption of CAS among SMEs in Melaka, Malaysia. The findings indicate that CEO innovativeness, perceived usefulness and business competitiveness are negatively correlated but only perceived ease of use shows statistical significance and positive correlation to CAS adoption. The second study explores the performance of 93 ICT companies by analyzing sales growth ratio and profitability ratios in the ICT industry among Japan and three ASEAN countries such as Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines using ORBIS database of Bvd. The result of this study reveals that Japan has better performance in sales growth rate compared to ASEAN countries, but lower profitability. The third study extends by adding China and South Korea to form six Asian countries. Using 255 ICT companies, China shows higher p...

This will cause many problems mainly when t here are emergency cases at traffic light intersect ions which are always busy and jammed with many vehicles . This situation becomes more crucial when special routing is not provided for the emergency vehicles such as ambulance, patrol car and fire truck when r ed sign light. To overcome this situation, a traffic light controller system for emergency vehicle using 434 M Hz Radio and Programmable Integrated Circuit (PIC) is design ed to help traffic control and also other road user s when emergency situation occurs. The system works when a n emergency vehicle approaching the traffic light intersections, the emergency vehicle will send a si gnal via dedicated device to the receiver at traffi c light. The receiver or controller receives emergency signals; it changes the traffic red light to green light in a specific duration of time. This system will help to reduce a ccidents which happen at the traffic light intersec tions because of other vehicle had to huddle for given ro ute to emergency vehicle. The traffic light control system for emergency vehicle using radio frequency (RF) assist ed the emergency vehicle to cross at the intersecti on of traffic light. In the future, the development of th is system can be improved by analyzing the stabilit y of Radio Frequency system e.g. frequency range and can be de velop d for real traffic light system.

The growing competition in the globalized world made every industry as well as organizations did their best to survive by finding ways to be at competitive advantage over their rivals. As a result, people viewed quality in relation to different criteria based on the roles in the production-service value chain. The aim of the study was to determine the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the improvement of organizational performance working towards its success by investigating a link between performance and TQM principles that centered on customer satisfaction, process orientation and continuous improvement. An analysis using literature review of individual dimension and unique contribution of each to organizational performance has been made. The role of managers to implement TQM principles and practices has been analyzed as well as factors contributing to failures as a check list of what managers must avoid in order to implement TQM effectively. Qualitative research technique utilizing secondary data collection from empirical studies and literature reviews has been used in the study. The outcome of the research serves as a guide to policy makers as they are doing continuous improvement initiatives on the organizations.

This study aims to provide IoT-based wearable devices' effectiveness and potential cybersecurity threats to these innovative technologies. Using the PRISMA-2020 (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) methodology, we conducted a scoping study to understand better the application of inexpensive, consumer-grade wearables for health research from a population health viewpoint. Scopus databases yielded a total of 43 articles. Our findings show that academics and research participants are tremendously interested in this technology, but they are also wary about using wearables. These devices are still vulnerable to cybersecurity assaults such as data privacy and security in healthcare. However, blockchain technology is a potential alternative for integrating with IoT-based wearables to ensure data priva...

Companies develop new or improved products such as green eco lighting products that protect the environment by reducing energy consumption & meeting consumers' environmental needs. Green eco lighting products are energy-efficient lighting products that reduce energy consumption & are harmless products to the environment. The growing concern of companies & consumers towards the natural environment indicates consumer perception of green products. Hence, companies need to understand consumer perception towards green products to comprehend their needs &wants. Thus, this research aims to study consumer perception towards purchase intention for green eco lighting products. There are two research objectives: to understand the effect of demographic characteristics towards awareness of green eco lighting products & to investigate the relationship between consumer perception & purchase intention towards green eco lighting products. In this study, the researcher has selected 384 respondents as a sample to answer the questionnaire. For finding analysis, the researcher has used descriptive statistics, cross-tabulation, Cornbrash's alpha, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, & multiple regression analysis by SPSS software to analyse the data. The findings show a significant positive relationship between eco-labels, green prices, green advertising, perceived environmental responsibility, & environmental knowledge regarding green purchase intention for green eco lighting products. To encourage consumers to make green purchases, the researcher suggests that marketers invest more in eco-labels & green advertising. Besides, the future researcher should study other factors that may influence green purchase intention, such as demographic & psychological factors.

Osiris Database contained detailed information and included a lot of financial reports on listed companies around the world were used to analyze the data in Malaysia's listed companies; 4 telecommunication listed companies in Malaysia were chosen to be analyzed. The data on financial information was within 5 consecutive years (2008-2012) were reviewed retrospectively. Several variables in the financial statements were used to measure the performance of the company and how well the company performed; the variables were used to examine the company profit gain and financial position over the time period in telecommunication companies. The result found that Company B was the most desirable and gained the highest rank in five variables mainly due to higher revenue and continues good cost management. However, Company C and D rank the lowest ranking in five variables, mainly due to competitive pressure, new market entrance and higher operating costs that affect the subscriber growth in Malaysia remains moderate and reduction in the profit gain.
