In this article we present an approach based on fractals applied to biblical books. Fractal appro... more In this article we present an approach based on fractals applied to biblical books. Fractal approach is based on the literary structures providen by a rhetorical method, the Biblical and Semitic Rhetoric. This approach enables to take into account not only the frequencies of the words but also their literary organisation. The approach should also provide an explanation (a mathematical model) to the disagreements between several schools of biblicists. First results on two biblical books are presented and may lead to a tool of characterisation of style of the different authors.

Selection of relevant parameters based on conflict
In this paper, we present a new approach for selection of relevant parameters in fault detection ... more In this paper, we present a new approach for selection of relevant parameters in fault detection process. The conflict notion is used in order to evaluate the relevance of any subset of parameters. This selection is divided in two steps. The first consists in making partitioning of data running smooth. During the second step, we calculate the conflict between each subset of parameters. The experimental results are presented for several subsets of parameters for given breakdown in automobile system. In the second part of paper, we propose an automatic discretization algorithm; this algorithm improves the Hellinger-based discretization by adding an automatic stopped criterion.

The flight dynamics equations of a four rotor aircraft as well as the dynamics of the engines controlling the rotors are introduced. Then the differential flatness of the rotorcraft flight dynamics is displayed and finally a fault detection scheme, based on the differential flatness property, is proposed.
