The learning scrutinizes the influence of meteorological situations on fresh and case-hardened concrete formed in the South East, Nigeria. The variables considered in the research are temperature as well as relative humidity. The meteorological condition parameters were gained from Nigerian Metrological Agency in Lagos, Nigeria. The middling yearly temperature oscillated 26.39ºC to 32.49ºC was used as a control for the experiment. Slump and strength tests were conducted on concrete samples and results exposed that workability and compressive strength of the concrete was affected by temperature and relative humidity. In this research, it focused on the prediction and optimization of the production quantity in Innoson Plastic Manufacturing Company, Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria. The research method used is the application of factorial design methods to model, to evaluate the best optimal solutions for the production quantity of extrusion plastic pipes in the aforementioned company. The analysis shows that the parameters used to model the production quantity are significant and the model produced is also significant with its coefficient of determination to be 0.9968 and the adjusted R-Squared is 0.9823. Adequate Precision measures the signal to noise ratio. A ratio greater than 4 is desirable. The ratio of 29.271 indicates an adequate signal. This model can be used to navigate the design space. This study considers the statistical analysis of rice husk ash as a construction material in building production process. The quality of concrete mixture is of inevitable concern to all stakeholders in the construction industry in the zone when the climatic conditions of the zone are considered. The mix ratio is examined and all the prevailing construction/production practices are considered statistically. The statistical tools employed are descriptive, normality, process statistical summary and confidence estimation methods of statistics. The tools portrays the necessary information in the data to understand what the data information for further production process analysis.

The RCC structures show distressing signs within a span of only 6 to 10 years, whereas, the standard life of RCC frame structure is considered to be about 60 80 years. This can be recognized by number of reasons like non-maintenance, changed usage arrangement or initial inferior quality of construction. Such distressed beams often require strengthening. The most likely way to increase stability is to increase the strength of a structure. For strengthening the structural components, concrete jacketing and steel jacketing are the two general methods implemented. This research work focused on the design, and optimization of the concrete mixture using factorial analysis. Data were collected for the concrete mixture proportion to observe the ratio of the mixture content. Factorial design analyses were used to design the concrete mixture. It was also used to optimize the concrete mixture of the variables. The results were discussed and were also recommended for concrete mixture.

The study expressed the statistical investigation in depth of penetration on mild steel cladding weld geometry. The use of analytical tools and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were use to investigate the statistical influence of the mild steel cladding weld process parameters that gives rise to the geometry of the mild steel material. The results portray and express the statistical effects, variations and models of the process parameters and the response parameter in the system the parameters used are significant, while the model developed has a significance value of 0.48%. Finally, the need for this research has shown the essence of statistical investigation and mathematical modeling for depth of penetration on mild steel cladding weld metal geometry which give solutions to the system and more appropriate suggestions that will influence the decision making on mild steel metal utilization.

The operation manager of Mega Petroleum Station was finding it difficult in managing their queuing system and was not able to determine the best number of servers that can serve arriving customers at various demand periods which affects their queue performance. This study was conducted at Chester Mega Petroleum Station in Enugu, Nigeria with the aim of addressing the identified problem. The result from the Queue Evaluation Environment showed that 8 servers gave the best system utilization values of 73.2% which is expected to reduce the respective customers waiting times (Ws) by 84.7% for the case study establishments. The result further showed that with 8 servers for the service systems, there will be no more need of server increase at the respective average arrival rates of customers/minutes and also the expected probabilities of system idleness for the case studies were negligible at 8 server utilization. The Queue Evaluation Environment was later adopted in developing a Decision Support System for the referenced service facilities. The model was recommended for PMS refill only.

This research work was used to address the problem of Analysis of the forecasting of plastic yield in Finoplastika manufacturing industry. Data on production yield were collected from the industry covering a period of three years. Forecasting based time series technique was applied to determine the optimum production yield in the industry and the behavior of the production system. Hence the model is fit for predicting the product total, since the coefficient of determination shows a strong relationship. The model was therefore used to suggest optimum monthly production output for different product types investigated. This will prevent the incident of under producing or over producing as identified.
