Dinamiche insediative e potere rurale nella Toscana meridionale (secoli VII-XIV)”.- 2005: employed as non confirmed researcher on “The History of Late Roman and Medieval Settlements”.- 2022 Associate Professor medieval and postmedieval archaeologyHe is involved in the use of documentary sources to build up the settlement history, as well as using this sources as a tool for the archaeological investigation. In particular, he is engaged on researching in High Medieval settlements, castles and village founded by cities, studying the relationship between this settlements the landscape, and the territory, with a specific focus on resources management and exploit.
