I am Associate Professor at the University of Pavia, where I teach Archaeology of pre-Roman Italy and Etruscology, and Fellow of the KNIR (Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome)
I have recently published a book about "The Volscians. A "liquid people" of ancient Latium".
Among my fields of interest there are: Social and Religious History of Pre-roman Italy, especially Etruscans, Samnites, Volscians, and other peoples of Central Italy; the "Romanization" in Central Italy; Etruscan Cultural Memory; the survival of Etruscan Culture in Renaissance and Modern Italy.
