Media are one of the factors of social change. New media have generated debate regarding its influence on society and culture. The history of media studies has shown how communication researchers evolved theories of media effects on the basis of their studies involving print, radio and tv and helped improve the understanding of social impact of media raising critical issues of media access and its impact on social institutions. Based on a survey of 801 users of Internet and mobile phones, this study analyzes media habits and social cultural impact on the behaviour and attitude.
