Abstrak: Perdebatan perihal membentuk dan memperjuangkan Negara Islam/Islamic state pasca runtuhnya Kekhalifahan Usmaniyah di Turki yang telah dihapuskan oleh Muhammed Kemal Ataturk dan koleganya, Zia Gokalp  membuat perdebatan diantara para teoritikus politik Islam di Dunia Islam baik yang ada dibelahan Timur Tengah, anak benua India dan Asia yang berpenduduk muslim sangat berlawanan.
