The experiment also enabled us to determine the heating and cooling power of the respective coils as well. In the experiment, the blower was switched on and regulated. The corresponding values of temperature, pressure and humidity were noted. The experiment performed, fulfilled its purpose well and was an overall success. The experiment had very little random errors. The results obtained from the experiment hold significant importance.

In search of valuable energy sources such as the oil and gas, the companies developed and advanced further into deep waters. Regulators, on the other hand failed to keep up with this ever expanding industry. The shortfall in supervision of offshore drilling eventually resulted in the blowout of the Macondo well, loss of 11 rig workers and the catastrophic oil spill of 4.8 million barrel that followed (Bob Graham et al. 2010). The event of April 20th had devastating impacts that were nurtured by the distinctive cultures, geography and institutions of the Gulf region. The impacts of the disaster shaped the economic sector occurring from the coexisting coastal tourism, and also dreadfully affected the marine ecosystem including wildlife and fisheries and the all-important energy resources at the gulf. The disaster resulted in eleven men losing their lives on the rig and the involved companies, in paying billions of dollars of fines and compensation to the government and state bodies

The experiment was divided into two main parts. For the theoretical value of the experiment, ω_n=√(k/m) was used. Weights were added to the spring and the extensions were noted to find the value of spring constant, k. This value was then used to find the theoretical value of natural frequency. For the second part of the experiment, the natural frequency was found by first finding the time period of the oscillation and then substituting it into ω_n=2π/T. The time period was found from the vibrating motion vs time graph.
