The article substantiates the opinion that integral education based on personalism covers all dim... more The article substantiates the opinion that integral education based on personalism covers all dimensions of personality development: physical, mental, social, cultural, and religious. The purpose of the study is to present the innovative content of integral education, expressed in the Pedagogy of unity by Chiara Lubich. The reflections on integral education, based on the interpretation of Lubich's texts and the experience of the Focolare Movement educational community, founded by her, describe the original directions of integral education in the Pedagogy of unity. It is emphasized that the concept of holistic education of the Pedagogy of unity, based on Christian ideas, is compatible with the trends of personalistic pedagogy and -although it originates from the religious message of the charism of unity by Chiara Lubich -is characterized by universality, developed on love, presenting it as a pedagogical value. Based on the results of the analysis of modern scientific sources, it has been proven that due to love, and mutual understanding in interpersonal relationships, effective communication is created at the social level, a person is elevated to higher spiritual values, and a harmonious educational environment is formed for self-assertion and freedom. It has been found that this direction of education makes it possible to build universal fraternity, peace, and unity. The author claims that the interpretation of holistic education in this context allows for preserving the unity of the human being and his/her harmonious development. The presented analysis of the features of integrated education by the pedagogy of unity does not diminish the general idea expressed in Chiara Lubich's theory. New directions have been determined for further scientific research, both in the field of the hermeneutics of Lubich's works as well as in the field of scientific research of the educational practice of the Focolare Movement and educational institutions in various cultures of the world, oriented on the charism of unity.

Analizzando la storia dell'educazione negli ultimi secoli, si può osservare che le pedagogie crea... more Analizzando la storia dell'educazione negli ultimi secoli, si può osservare che le pedagogie creative, ancora oggi valide, hanno le loro radici in carismi che hanno avuto un impatto significativo non solo sullo sviluppo dell'educazione, ma anche sulla cultura ad ampio raggio 1 . Nella presente pubblicazione, la fonte di conoscenza è l'esperienza educativa dell'insegnante italiana Chiara Lubich (1920-2008) e del Movimento dei Focolari da lei fondato. Nell'analisi fenomenologica di questa esperienza, e quindi in riferimento diretto alla pratica, gli Autori invitati a contribuire a questo volume scoprono la sua essenza e i principi di base, facendo di essa l'oggetto di interpretazione pedagogica che rende possibile tracciare il profilo di una pedagogia 2 definita qui pedagogia dell'unità 3 . W przemówieniu do rodzin zgromadzonych w Łowiczu w 1999 roku Jan Paweł II stwierdził, że pierwszy... more W przemówieniu do rodzin zgromadzonych w Łowiczu w 1999 roku Jan Paweł II stwierdził, że pierwszym miejscem, gdzie rozpoczyna się proces wychowawczy młodego człowieka, jest dom rodzinny . Papież wyjaśnił, że rodzicom przysługuje prawo do tego, by byli uznani za pierwszych i głównych wychowawców swych dzieci, ponieważ to oni dali im życie. Rodzina jest zatem naturalnym środowiskiem życia, w którym dziecko powinno rozwijać swe możliwości, nabywać świadomości własnej godności i przygotowywać się do dorosłego życia (por. FC, nr 2, 21). Należy przy tym wyraźnie podkreślić, że fundamentem każdego procesu wychowawczego jest miłość. To ona określa naturę rodziny i ostatecznie wyznacza jej zadania. Istotnym wymiarem wychowania w rodzinie chrześcijańskiej jest wychowanie do wiary, a wiara rośnie, gdy jest przeżywana jako doświadczenie doznawanej miłości i kiedy jest przekazywana jako doświadczenie łaski i radości -podkreślił Benedykt XVI w liście apostolskim Porta fidei (PF, 7), ogłoszonym z okazji rozpoczęcia Roku Wiary. Czym jest wychowanie do wiary? Czy obejmuje ono jakiś szczególnie wybrany obszar życia człowieka? Jaki model wychowywania do wiary można wskazać współczesnej rodzinie? Te i wiele innych pytań powstaje w kontekście Roku Wiary. Jedną z odpowiedzi na nie może być propozycja tzw. duchowości jedności, stanowiąca fundament wychowania do wiary w rodzinach Ruchu Focolari .

PROBLEM I METODY BADAWCZE: Problem badawczy brzmi: dlaczego i w jakim sensie godność osoby ludzkiej jest istotą pasji wychowawczej dr Półtawskiej? W poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi na to pytanie zastosowano hermeneutykę jej tekstów i wypowiedzi oraz analizę jej narracji podczas spotkań z autorką artykułu. PROCES WYWODU: Najpierw pokazano dwie postaci, które poprzez transcendowanie swojego passio z obozów koncentracyjnych odnalazły sens życia i podjęły działania na rzecz ochrony godności człowieka. This paper aims to answer the research question: How to educate oneself towards maturity in light... more This paper aims to answer the research question: How to educate oneself towards maturity in light of the theoretical approach of Zdzisław Chlewiński? Chlewiński developed the theory of mature personality, identifying three components: reliable insight into oneself (authenticity), autonomy and a personalistic attitude towards other people. In this paper, self-education towards maturity is considered as developing the qualities listed by Chlewiński, thus becoming increasingly authentic and autonomous as well as increasingly human in one's relation to the other. Wychowanie do przebaczenia w pedagogii jedności Świat współczesnej młodzieży kultury Zachodu cora... more Wychowanie do przebaczenia w pedagogii jedności Świat współczesnej młodzieży kultury Zachodu coraz bardziej charakteryzuje życiowe zagubienie z powodu zaniku autorytetów, poczucie braku zrozumienia wynikające z osamotnienia wywołanego rozpłynięciem się realnych relacji międzyosobowych, a także narastający chaos w sferze wartości i religii, spowodowany powszechnie panującym relatywizmem i ucieczką od zasadniczych pytań o celowość życia człowieka na ziemi. Rodzice, wychowawcy, nauczyciele i pedagodzy wciąż poszukują nowych metod wychowawczych, aby uczyć dzieci i młodzież pokonywania trudów i porażek, budzić oraz ożywiać w nich zapał i zaangażowanie w przekształcanie własnej rzeczywistości w bardziej pogodną. Dialog międzyreligijny, jako wydarzenie społeczne i religijne, stał się faktem na przełomie XX i ... more Dialog międzyreligijny, jako wydarzenie społeczne i religijne, stał się faktem na przełomie XX i XXI wieku. Podkreśla się jego wartość i potrzebę, zwłaszcza w środowiskach wielokulturowych i wieloreligijnych Europy. Zdaniem Jana Pawła II, dialog międzyreligijny "stanowi jedno z najważniejszych wyzwań naszej epoki" 1. Czym jednak jest w swej istocie dialog międzyreligijny? Jaki jest jego cel? Co stanowi jego podstawę? Jakie są jego przejawy? Odpowiedzi na postawione pytania postaram się udzielić w oparciu o analizę doświadczenia katolickiego Ruchu Focolari na płaszczyźnie dialogu międzyreligijnego (wł. Movimento dei Focolari). Zagadnienie zostanie zaprezentowane w trzech częściach. W pierwszej części, przedstawiając w zarysie fundamenty dialogu międzyreligijnego, ukażę najbardziej podstawowe ujęcie tego dialogu przez Kościół katolicki oraz powszechną normę etyczną wyrażoną w świętych księgach wielkich religii, w formie tak zwanej «złotej zasady». W części drugiej zaprezentuję podstawy dialogu międzyreligijnego w Ruchu Focolari, natomiast w części trzeciej ukażę owoce, będące wynikiem praktycznego wymiaru tegoż dialogu.

Such are the times of today when people try to justify war on the grounds of belonging to different and incompatible cultures. Hence, there is an urgent need for a revival of intercultural dialogue and adequate education to foster it. Aware of the current challenge to peace, the two authors, who come from different geographical areas and cultures, seek through their research to highlight the educational value of Chiara Lubich’s charism, her work and that of the Focolare Movement she founded. To this end, they make use of the hermeneutic method of “text” analysis, understood as everything the person said, did and wrote. Durante il V Sinodo dei Vescovi nel 1980, dedicato alla famiglia cristiana è stato costatato un estremo bisogno della presenza pastorale della Chiesa per sostenere le famiglie. Il Sinodo ha espressamente riconosciuto anche l’utile apporto di associazioni di spiritualità, di formazione e di apostolato.
