It is very good curative and work against various illness and infections. The plant part has large importance in Ayurveda. In this study we use stem and leaves used for phytochemical analysis and their biological properties such as Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory activity. Known Protocol for the phytochemical analysis, while antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity was determined using known methods. Both the leaves and stem extract show presence of various important active constituent and shows better activity against the free radicals or antioxidant activity or they can show the anti-inflammatory activity.

Large number of new compounds are synthesized daily. Most of these dyes are the azo dyes used in the fabric, plastic, medicine industry very largely. These dye industries create lot of pollution by discharging the waste into the water body. So, as to decrease this pollution level it become necessary to discharge the industrial waste water by treatment. For this degradation is very important process, for degradation we have developed the simple nano catalyst from the flowers of plant Ceropegia attenuata. The synthesized nanoparticles are characterized by different techniques. These nanoparticles can easily degrade the dyes by the UV/Sun light depend on the intensity. These dyes can easily degrade. We have studied the example of the Methylene Blue dye.

In nanoscience research synthesizing green nanoparticles using green protocols are very good, effective technique, quite safe and ecofriendly technique compared to the conventional chemical and physical methods. These are used in the various field of science. These are used in the catalysis. Theses green and bio-based route for the preparation of the nanoparticles has good attention in the organic synthesis. These nano catalysts used for synthesis of heterocyclic compound. Imidazole and their derivatives are widely used. The imidazole and its derivatives are very important heterocyclic compounds. They have very good biological and pharmaceutical activity. In this we have prepared plant assisted tin oxide nanoparticles from the leaves of Ceropegia jainii plant by the green methods. The synthesized nanoparticles are characterized by various methods of analysis. These synthesized plants assisted nanoparticles are used for the synthesis of the heterocycles. We have developed the simple and highly efficient three component such as benzil, aromatic aldehyde and ammonium acetate under the microwave irradiation without any solvent. This reaction gives the 2,4,5-triarylimidazole derivatives with good yield and purity. This method is very simple and cost effective. Nano catalyst are green and recyclable with very less reaction time.

For this it requires various catalyst which are costly. We have developed simple method for the synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles using waste Pineapple peels. Waste pericarp contain various phytochemicals which serve as reducing agent as well as the capping agent. The synthesized plant nanoparticles are characterized by the various analytical methods such as X-ray diffraction, FTIR, UV-Visible transmission electron microscopy, X-ray spectroscopy. The synthesized nanoparticles show good purity, good size. Synthesized nanoparticles are used for the treatment of the textile effluent by assessing the turbidity and conductivity, Chemical oxygen demand (COD), total dissolved solid (TDS), dissolved oxygen (DO), total suspended solid, this analysis indicate that this plant assisted nanoparticles play important role in the purification of water.

During this development nobler of colors and dyes are used. These dyes are responsible for the various pollution like water, soil and other pollution. Mostly the industrial water was discharged into rivers, pods and other water bodies. To overcome this problem, it become necessary to remove these dyes from the industrial discharge. One of the solutions is that the industrial effluent must be treated before the discharge into other water bodies. We have developed the activated charcoal from the fruit peel of plant Hydnocarpus pentandra and used for the adsorption of Methylene Blue dye. Its activated charcoal shows the excellent adsorption for Methylene Blue dye. Around 90-95% of the dyes gets adsorbed over it. Thus, simple method from the of the fruit peel was developed. This is low cost, easy to prepare and have good efficiency. This may be used for the adsorption of various dyes.

Initial characterization studies have been done by elemental analysis to get information on the percent composition of C, H, N, O, S elements and metal, while UV-Visible spectroscopy shows the effect of metal chelation on the different inter-ligand transitions. Magnetic moment confirms the diamagnetic and paramagnetic behaviour of Zn (II) complexes and Ni (II) because there are all paired and two unpaired electrons are present in the outer orbital of the central zinc and nickel metal ion respectively. ABSTRACT A C2-symmetric 7,8-dioxa[6]helicene-2,13-diol was synthesized from readily available 2,7... more ABSTRACT A C2-symmetric 7,8-dioxa[6]helicene-2,13-diol was synthesized from readily available 2,7-dihydroxynaphthalene on a gram scale. A high-yielding synthetic strategy for the regioselective hydroxymethylation at the sterically most hindered C1 position of diol analogues was investigated. The dioxa[6]helicene backbone with configurationally stable helical enantiomers was synthesized, and these enantiomers were separated by HPLC on a chiral stationary phase. We also observed an unexpected domino Prins reaction. This is the first report of a domino Prins reaction occurring on a helicene. Along with the high-yielding regioselective functionalization of dioxa[6]helicene analogues, the synthesis of a few cis-7a,14c-dihydro-functionalized helicenoid diols substituted at the sterically most hindered C1 and C14 positions in their racemic forms was explored.

When the reaction between anthrone and (R)-(+)-N-α-methylbenzylmaleimide was carried out in aqueous ethanol in presence of achiral base no diastereoselectivity could be obtained. Moderate diastereoselectivity could be achieved in presence of chiral bases.

The ionic liquid played a dual role as solvent and catalyst.
