Open FAIR™ Certification

This document defines the requirements that must be met by a training course and the provider of such training course in order for the training course to become and remain accredited. These requirements are incorporated with the applicable Program Configuration, and The Open Group Certification for People Training Course Accreditation Policy, into the Training Course Accreditation Agreement.

This document sets out the policies and processes by which a certification training course or a credential training course may achieve accreditation. Training courses eligible for accreditation are those courses designed to help people acquire the necessary knowledge and understanding of a Body of Knowledge in order for the person to achieve certification or earn a credential.

This document defines the requirements for certification of individuals within the Open FAIR Certification Program, which in turn form the learning requirements for Accredited Training Courses.
