The architecture of the system is dictated by the successive stages of the inspection process and the available conditions in the work shop. As a novelty in the field, the authors developed such a fully automated LPI system for inspecting different parts, which eliminates the need of the visual inspection made by operator, using instead dedicated software solution for processing the digital images of the inspected parts and for giving the pass/fail verdict. In the present case study, the attention was focused on optimizing the new LPI system architecture. Simulations in different working scenarios are run with the purpose to increase productivity by optimizing the critical waiting times within the system and by establishing the best order for inspecting parts belonging to three families subjected to LPI method. Moreover, the results of the simulation are used for programming the system by setting the optimal values of the functional parameters of system's equipment in order to avoid running a large number of tests which are expensive and time consuming.

The issue of association culture is all the time examined in connection to evolution. The normal origination is that a business enterprise culture strongly affects progress. An association culture that makes esteem assumes regard for individuals and administrations which not just fulfil the buyer's needs, yet in addition outperform them. Customary training has contributed significantly to the present levels of mechanical progress and innovative headway. Nonetheless, all together for advanced education to convey future ages with the correct arrangement of abilities and learning; a basic inquiry must be asked in regard to how advanced education organizations would be influenced by the fourth modern transformation and how the conveyance of training will be changed. There are diverse open doors accessible that will shape the part which can be embraced by advanced education in the fourth mechanical upset. Consolidating the quality of the customary advanced education with the expanding pattern speaks to essential strides to scale quality instruction that would change worldwide advanced education.

It integrates a lot of useful instruments for e-Learning like: browsing web, screen sharing, video players, virtual library, live streaming, webcam, videoconferences, VoIP, chat, whiteboard, automatic checking systems, and interactive testing evaluation systems. Our platform, TIMV Plus, allows the import of 3D objects in FBX and OBJ format. This type of objects can be obtained by using any 3D software or by being imported from Google Warehouse or Google Blocks, so that more 3D components can continuously emerge on the platform, up to each user's will. Given the fact that this platform uses a server-client architecture, any new modification is saved on server, and the other users can visualize in real time the new components.

All the major innovations that occurred in digital technology require from the virtual enterprise actors a level of knowledge not so easy to be achieved. Knowledge comes in multiple forms and types (tacit, explicit, learned individually or through collective learning) and is in close link with the management of virtual enterprises. When it is absent the activity of the company will be faulty. It is very important to find the reason for the existing gap between demand and offer of knowledge and establish in what way it will affect the management of virtual enterprise. This study aims to present the level of existing knowledge versus the level of knowledge demand, how we can help increase competence, in which areas organisations can benefit from it and what type of competences we will need in the future.

The paper proposes a study of two models: DNN (Deep Neural Network) and CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) over an existent dataset provided by Case Western Reserve University for analyzing vibrations in fault diagnosis. After the model is trained on the windowed dataset using an optimal learning rate, minimizing the cost function, and is tested by computing the loss, accuracy and precision across the results, the weights are saved, and the models can be tested on other real data. The trained model recognizes raw time series data collected by micro electro-mechanical accelerometer sensors and detects anomalies based on former times series entries.

The new product proposed by the national INPRO Research Network implying research centres and universities located in different Romanian geographical areas and the IBM/DASSAULT and UGS as PLM solutions providers is a package of services and training modules available on CD, on paper, and on Internet for open distance learning, based on a new Virtual Enterprise (VE) oriented curricula. In the training process we had included as a new multi site networking relationship between partners' on-line applications at the PLM modules training courses interconnecting the research and the industrial partners. UPB-PREMINV Research Centre as a member in this partnership also started a comparative performances analysis of those two PLM approaches considering the specific enterprises needs. Finally an appropriate and personalized solution should be available for every one of those industrial partners of the research network who expressed their interest in implementing PLM solutions.

Lately, these virtual slices are the input for generating 3D virtual models using DICOM viewers, facilitating spatial orientation, and diagnosis. Virtual Reality (VR) and 3D printing (3DP) technologies are also reported for use in anatomy visualization, medical training, and diagnosis. However, it has not been yet investigated whether the surgeons consider that the advantages offered by 3DP and VR outweigh their development efforts. Moreover, no comparative evaluation for understanding surgeon’s preference in using these investigation tools has been performed so far. Therefore, in this paper, a pilot usability test was conducted for collecting surgeons’ opinions. 3D models of knee, hip and foot were displayed using DICOM 3D viewer, two VR environments and as 3D-printed replicas. These tools adequacy for diagnosis was...
