Christopher Izgin

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford. My research is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). I wrote my dissertation on the principle of excluded middle in Aristotle, supervised by Jonathan Beere at Humboldt University Berlin and Marko Malink at New York University. During my postdoc, I want to study logical principles and argumentation in Sextus Empiricus, advised by Luca Castagnoli. I am also interested in ancient Buddhist philosophy and contemporary philosophy of language and epistemology.
