The respondents were 179 educators from the seven campuses of Northern Iloilo State University, Philippines selected through proportional random sampling. This study employed the descriptive cross-sectional study using a survey research design. Data were gathered using a validated and reliability-tested researcher-made questionnaire. Results were analyzed using statistical tools such as Means, Standard Deviation, and T-test for Independent Samples, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Pearson-r. The results of the study revealed that the educators' level of readiness towards flexible teaching in terms of attitude was neither positive nor negative as an entire group, however, as to academic rank, instructors have positive attitudes while college professors have negative attitudes toward flexible teaching. In terms of anxiety, educators have mild levels of anxiety. No significant differences were observed in terms of attitude when classified as to age, sex, civil status, length of teaching experience, and workload, however, a significant difference was observed in terms of anxiety when educators were classified as to sex. Furthermore, the educators' attitudes have a negative significant relationship to anxiety.

Fifty (50) Grade 9 learners were assigned to the control class receiving a traditional approach and experimental class with an intervention using localized cartooned concept materials focused on fishing and coastal economies. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to assess knowledge improvement. The findings reveal that learners exposed to cartooned instructional media demonstrated significantly higher achievement scores than those taught using traditional teaching methods without the intervention. The results align with previous studies, highlighting that cartoons improve academic performance and foster creative, critical, and analytical thinking. The engaging nature of cartoons helped sustain student interest, enhancing comprehension and retention of economic concepts. The research concludes that cartoon-based instructional media are highly effective in enhancing student learning and engagement, presenting them as a valuable pedagogical resource for improving educational outcomes in economics and beyond. The study recommends incorporating cartoonbased media into teaching strategies, providing teacher training, and exploring the broader use of such tools across various subjects and educational levels.

This study employed a quantitative approach with data collected through a modified questionnaire modeled from the Philippines' Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Graduate Tracer Study. The findings showed that most graduates passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and worked full-time, however, were underemployed. Most graduates acquired their first job in less than a year, but not in the field of education. The respondents found learned skills in communication, knowledge and technical, leadership, human relations, and ICT useful in the workplace to a great extent. However, research and problem-solving skills were found to be useful to a moderate extent. Among the difficulties faced by BEED graduates in finding a job, the limited job vacancies in the teaching profession or the lack of positions or permanent items in public elementary schools was pointed out as a major problem. The university is recommended to establish a dedicated unit for conducting regular tracer studies, integrate it into the college's quality assurance system, and strengthen partnerships with local employment offices and the private sector to ensure job opportunities for graduates. The Teacher Education Department may review and enhance its curriculum to align with the current demands of the teaching profession in public and private schools, both for local and international employment.
