I was a storyteller when I was a kid, naïve and nervous though, in a very small town, so small that I needed to repeat the name in front of the audience, of course when I came to the metropolis - Dhaka. Then I became a cautious speaker, to 'prove' points - you know what a university student should actually be. Then I became a polemic. Well, I had no other choice. Later I became a storyteller again, something the orthodox academia doesn't like at all. This is an irony that when I know more than ever that this industry (academia) is one of the most pretentious ones, across the globe, 'storytelling' has become a fancy attribute here. Stories can be so tricky!

Perhaps I should feel sorry for myself for not using English as medium of expression for my entire life. Stories are lost when you don't know my language.
