This can be used by the Indians who are working in abroad countries as well as for the government employees who are on on-duty to foreign and the people who work in Military, Army, Defense and Navy. It can also be utilized for the physically challenged people, aged persons and also the bedridden that cannot come to the voting booth. The main objective is for voting in a place where we are with the help of online. services by this practice we could achieve 100% voting in our country. This on-line system enables proper management of the personal data of voters possibly with more security. It minimizes election expenses to the country. It helps to stop the double voting thereby ensures invalid votes by authorizing the thumb press and image capturing device. So there are valid votes could be collected and safety measures also could be ensured.

The study was made on a 260 BEd teacher trainees studying in Kanchipuram District by the method of Random Sampling. Out of 260 sample 121 male and 139 female BEd teacher trainees. The tool used in the present study was the Emotional Intelligence Scale Standardized by Anukool Kyde, Sunjyat Dethe and Upinder Dhar. (2001). The investigator used the statistical techniques, Mean, Standard Deviation ‘t’ test and ‘F’ test. The results show that the following samples gender, locality of institution, type of management, hour of study, birth order, no of siblings and type of family shows average level of emotional intelligence and there is no significant difference between the following sub samples towards the emotional intelligence of BEd teacher trainees.

The study was designed to evaluate the significance of tissue polypeptide specific antigen (TPS) ... more The study was designed to evaluate the significance of tissue polypeptide specific antigen (TPS) in patients with histologically proven ovarian and colorectal cancer following treatment along with CA125 (in ovarian cancer) and CEA (in colorectal cancer). Patients were grouped as follows : Group I: Patients with stable disease Group II: Patients with metastasis and relapse In patients with ovarian and colorectal cancer, the mean TPS levels were significantly higher in patients of group II compared to group I. The percentage of patients above cutoff levels for TPS were 17.4% in group I and 95.5% in group II. Similar results were observed with the mean levels of CA125. In colorectal cancer patients, the percentage of patients above cutoff levels for CEA and TPS were 70% and 30% in group I and 100% in group II for both the markers. Our observations indicate that TPS may be used as a common marker to indicate metastases in patients with ovarian and colorectal cancer.

Occupational exposure is one of the environmental factors with potential genotoxic effects. Researchers try to determine factors involved in genetic damages at hazards exposure that could accelerate aging. Cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) gene contributes in activation and detoxification of the environmental hazards. This polymorphism plays an important role in susceptibility of inter-individuals to DNA damage at the occupational exposure. The current study evaluated the possible influence of this gene polymorphism in aging by genomic damages through the biomarkers alterations of micronuclei (MN), comet tail length and telomere length shortening at the exposure. In this study, buccal cells were collected from the oral cavity of exposed workers and non-exposed controls. The CYP2E1 genotypes were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). The wild genotype significantly affected MN frequency (p = 0.007) and relative telomere length (p = 0.047) in the older group of workers. It was concluded that the interaction of gene polymorphism and exposure enhances DNA damage and accelerates aging consequently.

Association of GSTM1 and GSTT1 with ageing in auto repair shop workers

We evaluated the possible influence of glutathione S-transferase mu (GSTM1) and glutathione S-tra... more We evaluated the possible influence of glutathione S-transferase mu (GSTM1) and glutathione S-transferase theta (GSTT1) genes on genetic damage due to occupational exposure, which contributes to accelerate ageing. This study was conducted on 120 car auto repair workshop workers exposed to occupational hazards and 120 controls without this kind of exposure. The null and non-null genotypes of GSTM1 and GSTT1 genes were determined by multiplex PCR. Micronucleus frequency, Comet tail length and relative telomere length differences between the null and non-null genotypes of the GSTM1 gene were significantly greater in the exposed group. Lack of GSTT1 did not affect the damage biomarkers significantly (P > 0.05), while lack of GSTM1 was associated with greater susceptibility to genomic damage due to occupational exposure. It was concluded that early ageing is under the influence of these genes and the environmental and sociodemographic factors. Duration of working time was significantly associated with micronucleus frequency, Comet tail length and relative telomere length.

The present synthesis utilizes a crotylation, oxidative cleavage of the indole moiety, and macrolactamization as key steps. The use of the indole nucleus as a masked anthranilic acid unit paves the way for the easy synthesis of related macrocycles and natural products where the ortho-acyl aniline moiety is embedded into them, which otherwise is difficult to synthesize.
