Achievement Motivation of SMK Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province

The main objective of this research is to analyze the motivation of teachers of Islamic religious... more The main objective of this research is to analyze the motivation of teachers of Islamic religious education at SMK in the regency of Pesawaran, province of Lampung. This research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The results of the study revealed that: Islamic religious education teachers at SMK in Pesawaran district, the level of motivation to succeed is still rated as low because (1) they do not have the desire to always excel, (2) are less creative and innovative, and (3) dislike challenges or competition. Based on these results, several recommendations are made according to which, to increase teacher motivation, several measures can be taken, including (1) the implementation of effective and efficient supervision of the school principal, (2) the development of the professionalism of teachers and (3) the creation of a culture of school quality.

State Islamic University (UIN) is set to become a world-class center for Islamic studies in accor... more State Islamic University (UIN) is set to become a world-class center for Islamic studies in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia to make Indonesia a "center of world Islamic education". Indonesian Islam is hoped to be a trade-mark for the Indonesian people, and an attraction for other nations to learn about Islam. But the reality shows the quality of Islamic Religious Higher Education (PTKI) is very alarming, compared to that of the secular universities in Indonesia. Based on webometrics 2019, only 8 Islamic universities are in the top 100 of the best tertiary institutions in Indonesia, and their ranking is of the lower level. This paper aims to analyze the development strategy of UIN as a center for world-class Islamic studies. The analytical method used in this study is a descriptive-analytical method, combined with a concept study approach and interpretive analysis in the form of a critical thinking pattern for later synthesis to produce a conclusion. Based on the results of the analysis and conceptual study and the potential of UIN, there are several strategic steps that can be used as a consideration for developing UIN to become a center of world-class Islamic studies. They are: diplomacy in international academic lines, sending lecturers abroad (east middle), international-based academic policy, improvement of foreign language competence, communication services and international standard administration.

This research is a type of descriptive research that uses a qualitative approach. The results of the study found that general stress management for teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Bandar Lampung City was not being optimally performed during the Covid-19 pandemic. especially when developing strategies to avoid and cope with stress. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct Qolbu management training for MTs teachers in Bandar Lampung City to better manage stress during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The approach used is quantitative research, with survey methodology. The population research consists of senior high school teachers from the city of Gorontalo. There are 375 people in the sample, coming from 4 public schools and 3 private senior high schools in Gorontalo. The analysis is based on 66 teachers obtained by a random way using Strata methodology. Other variables were collected using a questionnaire instrument while the empirical evidence used statistical regression with significant levels α = 0,05. ) There is a positive influence on the principal of leadership style to teacher's motivation achievers. It means that the better the leadership style by the principal, the higher the achieving motivation by the teacher. Leadership Influence Toward Professionalism In Teaching And Learning Quality At Iain Raden Intan Bandar Lampung

This research was conducted at IAIN Raden Intan Bandar Lampung which is aimed at revealing the in... more This research was conducted at IAIN Raden Intan Bandar Lampung which is aimed at revealing the influence of leadership on the lecturers' professionalism and teaching-learning quality. The study uses a quantitative approach through descriptive correlation technique and regression by using parametric statistical analysis. The research findings show that the three hypothesis can be accepted as supported by empirical as following: 1) the influence of leadership upon lecturers' professionalism is 12.5%, with the strength low correlation as (0.354); 2) the leadership influence toward the learning quality is 0.81% with a low correlation strength i.e. 0.285; and 3) the lecturers' professionalism influence on learning quality is equal to 63.9%, with a strong correlation (0.799).
