—Considerable changes have been made in iris recognition technology over the last 20 years becaus... more —Considerable changes have been made in iris recognition technology over the last 20 years because of its large amount of universality, acceptability, correctness in addtion to uniqueness. Due to its high reliability in addtion to nearby effect recognition rates, iris recognition is used in high security areas. In this paper a review on well known algorithms for iris recognition has been mentioned in addtion to performance based on their approaches is highlighted.
