and its use in the context of sustainable development. The Azerbaijani
sector is located in the southwestern part of the Caspian Sea and constitutes
approximately 20-25% of the entire sea. The Caspian Sea is a vast body of
water with rare biological diversity and unique ecosystems. The paper
investigates how these natural resources can be used for ecotourism
purposes and how conservation measures can be implemented alongside
this. In particular, integrated strategies and management models are
proposed to protect marine ecosystems while enhancing the socioeconomic well-being of local communities. Research results show that
ecotourism can be a tool to ensure sustainable development in the Caspian
Sea region and support the long-term protection of ecosystems. The paper
provides practical recommendations for researchers, planners, and
policymakers who wish to explore the potential of ecotourism in the
Caspian Sea. The ecotourism potential of the Caspian Sea includes
opportunities to explore unique ecosystems, observe migratory birds, visit
national parks and protected areas, engage with marine and coastal
ecosystems, appreciate cultural and historical values, and participate in
health tourism, all of which can contribute to nature conservation and the
economic development of local communities. In the Caspian Sea
ecotourism, marine tourism, cultural and historical tourism, health and
wellness tourism, and birdwatching tourism can be developed.

Pomegranate ... more The review article describes the current state of pomegranate growing in Azerbaijan.
Pomegranate is a very ancient breed and culture of prehistoric times. It was taken into culture
directly from nature, from endemic forms. In the origin of the pomegranate culture, conscious
selection, plant domestication, and hybridization, which contributed to the development of new
forms, played a major role. The presence of large thickets of pomegranate, their widespread
distribution, the diversity of many original local varieties of high quality, reflecting extremely
careful selection in specialized areas, point to Azerbaijan as the region of its formation. The
Azerbaijani subtropics are rich sources of crop production; they can reliably enrich fruit growing
with valuable original varieties of pomegranate. Currently, when mastering the methods of
modern selection with their enormous prospects, it is possible to update aging varieties in a
shorter period, improve them, and using the accumulated source material, create new productive
and high-quality varieties that satisfy all production requirements.

because of existence of the such bio-oxide body as soil. Such important significance of soil for normal
functioning of separate ground ecosystem, as well as for existence of biosphere in whole is specified
by their variety ecological function [4,6]. Soil possesses natural original variety, which is universal
indicator of natural environment state. That’s why disturbance of soil under any influence of
(pollution, erosion, agricultural activity and etc.) indicates in ecosystem in whole [5,7].

The soils possessing rich paraffin (methane, ethane, octane), Naphthenes (Benzene, Toulene, Xylene), Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) (Naphthalene, Anthracene, Benzopyene) is to be recultivated by both thermal or chemical ways. The second method is much more acceptable in comparison with the first one. Because thermal way destroy wholly soil biota which leads the greatest problems to be solved again. In the paper chemical and biological ways were presented to protect the microorganisms such as; bacteria, fungi, algae and so on. At the same time soil fauna including protozoa, nematodes, mites, springtails, spiders, insects, and earthworms may be saved by this way. Almost soil flora living in it should be guarded for the next step. To the content of the crude oil contamination soils' recultivation, the initial showings have been taken into consideration. Bacterial generation for all types and pollution sources has been developed for the remediation. For the polluted soils containing the paraffins for bacterial generation begins with planting of Flavobacchain, Gordonia, Nocardia, Ochrobactrum, Pseudomonas, Sinorhizobium into the soil. But for the wasted soils having Naphthenes in its contain Acinetobacter, Bacillus, Microbacterium, Pseudomonas must be planted. If the crude oil contaminated soil has a plenty of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in this case certainly Advenella,

A field experiment was conducted in a Cardinal Vineyard farm located in Shamakhi district, Azerbaijan between May and October 2021. An experiment with one dose of biohumus treatment (5 t.ha-1) and three replications, with a plot size of 1 ha treatment was used. There were performed drip irrigation, starting from May 15 up to September 15, every 15 days. The soil sampling and measurements carried out after harvest the application of bio-humus in soil and the soil samples were collected from depth of 20 cm. The results showed that addition of bio-humus increased fresh berryweight yield, contents of organic matter, total N, available P, and available micronurtient (Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn) in soil compared with control plots. The soils treated with bio-humus had significantly more EC in comparison to unamended plots. The addition of bio-humus in soil resulted in increase of soil pH.

It also stimulates seed germination and viability, and its main effect usually being more prominent in the roots. This study was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications in Gobustan, Azerbaijan, in 2021 growing season, to determine the effects of different doses (0, 250, 500 and 1000 ppm) of humic substances such as humic acid (HA), fulvic acid (FA) and humic fulvic acid (HFA) on fresh yield and nutrient contents (N, P and K) of Eggplant Santana (Solanum melongena var. esculentum Santana) plants in a field experiment. According to the results of this study, humic substance treatments increased the fresh yields and leaf nutrient contents of Eggplant Santana, and this increase was found to be significant. The highest value for highest fresh yields and leaf NPK contents of Eggplant Santana plants were obtained from 1000 ppm HFA dose. These results suggest that 1000 ppm HA and FA combination to the standard humic substances application will be sufficient to obtain adequate fresh yield and nutrient contents in Eggplant Santana leafs.

The major wind type is the mountain-valley one for the territory. In the study the latest modern methods were applied to determine the wind energy potential for the region. On the base of the remote sensing method the average annual data on the potential were realized at 2 m. The final materials have been worked for making several dependences for ecological estimation. Dynamics of the total average annual wind energy potential data were defined based on long term remote sensing measurements. At the same time percentage wind directions was revealed depending on the months of a year. The measurement results have been given graphically in the paper. Due to the stochastic character of the wind data interval diapason within the last year (in 2021) were compared with former ones and the advantages were given. The measurement result at 2 m the data have been compared with ones obtained at 10 m for January and was appreciated. Wind potential deference between mountainous territories depending on the height from the sea level was identified and view point height for remote sensing process has been decided. As the first experimental settlement Zarat Kheybar was selected because the location and relief possibilities where the deforestation is higher. On the real forecasting materials (in Map 1. in December 2021 within 5 days) the cold period wind potential of the year was defined for the mentioned village. On the Google Earth based map whole the deforestation sites around the settlement were given in the orographic map in the paper (Map 2).
