Integrating psychological, sociological, and theological perspectives, the text delves into the mechanisms through which faith motivates altruistic behavior, including empathy, moral norms, community integration, and identity formation. Empirical evidence and theoretical frameworks are discussed to unravel the dual roles of faith as both a motivator and, at times, a restrictor of altruistic actions. Cultural variations are highlighted to demonstrate how religious and secular influences interact to shape altruistic behaviors differently across societies. This work aims to enrich the reader's understanding of the motivational complexities of altruism within religious frameworks, offering insights into the broader implications for psychological well-being and societal cohesion. By addressing both the positive and challenging aspects of faith-inspired altruism, the book contributes to a nuanced understanding of the role of religious convictions in fostering community-oriented behaviors and promoting global well-being.

The focus is on the theological implications of this pericope and its significance within the context of the Gospel of John. Through a thorough analysis of the text sections, it is demonstrated how the author of the Gospel of John uses the raising of Lazarus as a "sign" to convey deeper insights into the themes of death, mourning, and comfort. The paper considers both historical and symbolic interpretations of the narrative and discusses their relevance for contemporary Christian grief management. Practical consequences for dealing with bereavement and the fear of death are addressed, as well as the comforting message of the Christian faith. Finally, a personal statement on the significance of the raising of Lazarus in the modern world is given.

This article undertakes a transdisciplinary reflection that integrates anthropological, sociological, psychological, and theological perspectives in order to understand work not only as an economic necessity, but as an existential site of human self-realization, social participation, and spiritual vocation. Based on classical thinkers such as Aristotle, Marx, Weber and Frankl as well as modern authors such as Rosa, Han and Koe, work is analysed as an ambivalent sphere between heteronomy and freedom, between self-optimisation and self-transcendence. The thesis is: Work acquires meaning where it becomes not only a means, but also an expression, relationship and answer. In this way, an integrative understanding of work is developed that considers both the social framework conditions and the potential for personal interpretation.

A quantitative survey of 191 social workers was conducted, using a Likert scale to measure perceived work-family conflict and the effectiveness of various coping strategies. The results reveal that irregular working hours and insufficient employer flexibility are significant sources of work-family conflict, with female social workers reporting higher levels of conflict than their male counterparts. Remote work options were identified as the most effective strategy for mitigating these challenges. The study also highlights the role of emotional labor in exacerbating work-family conflict, particularly for women. Practical recommendations for organizations include the implementation of more flexible work policies and greater organizational support. The findings emphasize the need for systemic changes to address the gendered dimensions of work-family conflict in social work. Future research should explore the long-term effects of these interventions and continue examining gender disparities in the profession.

A quantitative survey of 274 social workers was conducted using a 5-point Likert scale to assess their perceptions of job satisfaction and mental health. Results indicate moderate overall job satisfaction, with an average score of 3.54. However, social workers reported high emotional demands (average score: 3.26) and insufficient resources to cope with work-related stress (average score: 2.96). While many participants felt they made a positive impact on their clients' lives, work-life balance and long-term career sustainability were concerns. These findings highlight the need for improved organizational support, access to mental health resources, and policies promoting better work-life balance to enhance the well-being and retention of social workers. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies and targeted interventions to address these challenges.

Using a quantitative approach, 101 participants aged 18-30 were divided into three groups: regular meditators, regular prayer practitioners, and a control group with no spiritual practice. Results show that both meditation and prayer significantly improve concentration and clarity of thought, with meditation yielding stronger effects. A strong positive correlation was found between the duration of spiritual practice and cognitive benefits, indicating that long-term practitioners experience greater improvements. These findings contribute to the growing body of literature on the neurocognitive impacts of spiritual practices and suggest practical applications for enhancing cognitive performance in educational and therapeutic settings. However, the study also highlights limitations, including the reliance on self-reported data and the need for more diverse samples in future research.

The findings reveal significant generational differences in trauma awareness, with the grandparent generation showing lower recognition of trauma impacts compared to heightened awareness in the parent generation. Adult children exhibit residual emotional effects despite reduced religious adherence. The results suggest that trauma transmission shifts from explicit religious control to more implicit family dynamics across generations. Therapeutic implications include tailored approaches for each generational cohort, integrating cognitive, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based therapies. The study also calls for a broader conceptualization of religious trauma as a form of cultural trauma that encompasses familial and cultural influences. Limitations are acknowledged, with recommendations for future research to include diverse samples and longitudinal studies.
