Analysis of Fiber Concrete Compression Strength for Material in Palangka Raya

The technology of materials and technical implementation of experiment results have purposes to a... more The technology of materials and technical implementation of experiment results have purposes to answer the increasing demands of concrete using. It used to perform the further research on the use of local materials for fiber concrete. In the particular study, it tried to use mixtures of; first, the mixtures of synthetic fibers and mixtures of 0.3 percent, 0.5 percent, and 0.7 percent of the cement, second, the mixture of fiber concrete wire and mixtures of 3 percent, 5 percent, and 7 percent of the cement. The results of compression strength test using 15 x 15 x 15 concrete cube obtained, the score of maximum compression strength in the percentage mixture of 5 percent fiber concrete wire in age of 28 days is 275.39 kg / cm 2 or increase 9.99 percent of normal concrete in age of 28 days is 250.38 kg / cm 2 .

Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, memberikan minat kepada saya untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai “Evaluasi Struktur Gedung Pasca Sarjana IAIN Palangka Raya Terhadap Potensi Gempa di Kota Palangka Raya - Kalimantan Tengah” menggunakan aplikasi atau perangkat lunak ETABS dan SAP2000 untuk menganalisa apakah bangunan tersebut telah mampu bertahan apabila diberikan potensi beban gempa. Analisis Koordinasi Sinyal Antar Simpang (Studi Kasus Jalan Rajawali-Tingang dan Jalan Rajawali-Garuda)

Banyaknya persimpangan dikota Palangka Raya dengan jarak antar simpang yang pendek terkadang meni... more Banyaknya persimpangan dikota Palangka Raya dengan jarak antar simpang yang pendek terkadang menimbulkan permasalahan tersendiri, dimana kendaraan terkadang harus selalu berhenti pada tiap simpang karena selalu mendapat sinyal merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa simpang di jalan Garuda-Rajawali dan jalan Tingang-Rajawali, dengan mengkoordinasikan kedua simpang untuk mengurangi antrian dan tundaan. Perencanaan waktu siklus yang didasarkan pada kondisi terjenuh saaat eksisting. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan memperhatikan teori koordinasi persimpangan dan rumus dalam MKJI 1997. Diharapkan waktu siklus baru dapat memberi kinerja simpang lebih efektif. Merencanakan koordinasi antar kedua simpang dari waktu siklus baru yang telah didapat dengan menggambil waktu siklusterpanjang dari kedua simpang. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh waktus siklus Simpang I = 98 detik dengan masing-masing pendekat, pendekat (Utara=11 detik, Timur= 21detik, Selatan=12 detik, dan Barat = 29 detik). Sedangkan pada simpang II = 113 detik dengan masing-masing pendekat, pendekat (Utara=12 detik,Timur=31 detik, Selatan = 12 detik, dan Barat = 34 detik). Dari hasil perbandingan waktu siklus setelah analisis, diketahui waktu siklus Simpang II (c = 113 detik) lebih besar dari Simpang I (c = 98 detik) dengan selisih waktu 15 detik. Maka kedua simpang dapat dikoordinasikan dengan mengambil waktu siklus terpanjang dari kedua simpang tersebut, yaitu c = 113 detik. Waktu tempuh dari simpang I ke simpang II membutuhkan waktu sekitar 61,42 detik, dengan t=0 pada waktu hijau pertama fase ke 2 pada simpang I dan t=61,42 detik merupakan waktu hijau pertama fase ke 2 pada simpang II.

CBR testing in the laboratory requires a relatively large amount of time and cost. Therefore it is necessary to simplify the determination of CBR value. One of the parameters of land that can be used to get the CBR value is the soil plasticity index (PI). It is expected that after knowing the PI value, the CBR can be known. This study aims to obtain a correlation between PI and CBR for the Palangkaraya clay. The test was carried out at the Soil Mechanics Laboratory of the University of Muhammdiyah Palangkaraya. Analysis of Clay Stabilization Bearing Capacity with Matos and Cement for Subgrade in Kalimantan Pavement (Case Study of Beringin Village Soils)

It is expected can improve CBR and UCS values. The stabilization by mixing it with Matos and Cement. The proportion of the mixture is 1%, 3%, 5% Matos, and 12% cement in each percent of Matos. Research showed that the CBR value of the original soil was 4.61% and UCS was 2.00 kg / cm2. Then, after stabilization with Matos 1%, 3% and 5% the CBR value respectively 34.55%, 49.07% and 40.55%. While UCS values respectively are 3.98 kg / cm2, 4.70 kg / cm2 and 3.57 kg / cm2. The result showed Matos 3% gave CBR value increased significantly 112.15% and UCS decreased by 3.45 kg / cm2. Generally, the addition of Matos and cement results increase the CBR value and decrease of UCS values.

Concrete Strength Characteristics with the Addition of Polypropylene Fiber from Strapping Band Material

Concrete mixtures can be added to improve the characteristics of concrete or reduce the compositi... more Concrete mixtures can be added to improve the characteristics of concrete or reduce the composition of concrete. Materials that can be used as additives in concrete mixes are polypropylene fibers from strapping band materials. The research carried out is a technical examination of the ingredient concrete and determine the design of the concrete mix composition. Mixing is done in 2 (two) stages, normal concrete mixing and concrete mixing with additional strapping band material. The addition of strapping band fibers is done with 3 (three) variations namely 0.5%, 0.75% and 1% of the weight of cement. The results showed that more and more strapping band fibers would reduce the compressive strength of concrete. The compressive strength value of normal concrete is 302.55 kg/cm2. While the compression strength value of concrete with the addition of strapping band fibers of 0.5%, 0.75% and 1% obtained respectively 271.34 kg/cm, 262.11 kg/cm and 234.14 kg/cm.

This study is to determine the effect of peat water, Kahayan river water, and PDAM water on the compressive strength of concrete. In this study, the immersion of concrete samples was carried out for 28 days and 60 days. The measurement results are known that the pH of peat water is 4.0 while the pH of Kahayan river water and PDAM water is 5.0. From the results note that in the 28 days immersion, peat water concrete has increased in compressive strength while concrete in Kahayan river water and PDAM water has decreased in compressive strength. However, during the 60 days immersion the peat water concrete decreased in compressive strength to 20,638 MPa (17.31%).
