Se observa que el número de condición de estas matrices tiene una gran dependencia de la estructura de la red y que es afectado por el grado de enmallamiento de la red. Se incluyen resultados de simulaciones computacionales de distintos casos que permiten establecer una relación de consecuencia. Palabras clave: Matrices de redes, condicionamiento numérico, estabilidad numérica.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been responsible for millions of deaths worldwide. Patients with comorb... more The Covid-19 pandemic has been responsible for millions of deaths worldwide. Patients with comorbidities– such as those on peritoneal dialysis (PD)– present higher morbidity and mortality than the general population. We prospectively evaluated all Chilean patients on PD (48 centres) and followed those who had Covid-19 from the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in Chile (March 2020) to January 2021 (start of vaccination campaign). We described demographic history, comorbidities, factors related to infection, need for hospitalisation and death due to Covid-19. During the study period, 106 adults on PD were infected by SARS-CoV-2, with a mean age of 53.1 (±16.3) and of which 53.9% were female. From that group, 54.8% required hospitalisation and 24.5% ( n = 26) died due to Covid-19. Most of the patients (63.4%) were infected at home and 22.8% during hospitalisation for other reasons. Renewable energies sources have grown regularly in the last year, because they have been a soluti... more Renewable energies sources have grown regularly in the last year, because they have been a solution not only for reducing the power expenses but also to be employed in the remote areas and places, moreover, all companies will be obligated to produce or buy clean energy to reach carbon neutral in 2025. Thus, this paper makes the technical and economical analysis of including solar power system in a mayor berries agroindustry. The study includes all considerations the farmers should consider for solar panel installation in order to not only produce for themselves but also sell the surplus to the grid. This is important, since during winter season the irrigation energy requirements is minimal compare with the middle of the summer, and therefore the total amount of produced energy should be sold to the grid in order to improve the investment payback time. The complete analysis is illustrated based on the actual normative and tools to configure solar systems.

The applications are numerous and every day more accessible for smaller companies that need to reduced their energy expenses. This paper studies and analyses the economic impact of solar energy installation on a small farm close to Quillón, Chile, a little town whose economy is mainly based on fruits and vegetables production. The proposed methodology divides the analysis into three cases, which determine the selection of the number of panels according to (1) supplying of the total demand in the month with the highest solar irradiation, (2) supplying of the total demand in the month with the lowest solar irradiation, and (3) supplying the total demand without having energy excesses injected into the grid, but only produce for self-supplying. All the cases are studied and therefore the decision may follow the economic aspect of investment in the short, middle, and long term. Thus, these alternatives are visible for producers to take the option that best fits them.

Power conversion has gain relevance because of the capacity to transform the electric energy as n... more Power conversion has gain relevance because of the capacity to transform the electric energy as needed in many applications such as electrical drives, electromobility, reactive power compensation, renewable energies, among others. In this context, the proper control of the power converter may lead to improve the efficiency and protect the entire power converter system. This paper presents a deadbeat control with the capability to enhance the fast dynamic response, typical of this technique, and therefore to be used for current and voltage control applications that require slower dynamic. The proposed technique is implemented in a three-phase power converter with satisfactory results; moreover, this technique is simple and light in computational cost. Finally, to corroborate the proposal, simulations are included with satisfactory results showing an improved dynamic and making the deadbeat control softer as some applications may require.
