Students and educators have to cope with the challenges of learning out of the classroom. Therefore, one of the learning approaches, which is Mobile Heutagogy (M-Heutagogy) has been chosen by educators as a teaching and learning framework. Numerous studies have identified the effectiveness of M-Heutagogy to promote learner autonomy and capability among higher education institutions students. However, past studies have shown students mostly having problem to learn online due to weak Internet access. Hence, the main purpose of this study is to discuss the factors that influence the acceptance of M-Heutagogy. This study proposed a conceptual framework of M-Heutagogy acceptance that predicts the behavioural intentions to use M-Heutagogy among students. This study will contribute to the body of knowledge, methodology and practice in providing insights of the acceptance factors of M-Heutagogy among students of Higher Education Institutions in Malaysia.

Many studies have been conducted on using conventional blogs in teaching and learning yet only few have focused on moblogs. Moblogs allow trainers to empower themselves through the acquisition of both explicit and tacit knowledge. Thus, this study aims at designing, developing and implementing moblogs as a platform for a new hybrid e-training approach, which was tested to generate a two-stage model for meaningful hybrid e-training. The data were collected from 213 Information Communication Technology (ICT) trainees which were subsequently tested using confirmatory factor analysis with AMOS 7.0 to obtain the best-fit measurement model for an integrated meaningful hybrid e-training model using moblogs. The results revealed that: (i) hybrid e-training influenced the achievement of meaningful e-training; (ii) learning styles influenced the acceptance of hybrid e-training; and (iii) learning styles preferences influenced the achievement of meaningful e-training.

Nevertheless, the studies related to the relationship between Web 2.0 technologies and meaningful learning attributes are inadequate. The objective of the study was to identify the relationship between frequency of Web 2.0 tools and five meaningful learning attributes. Based on a survey with 70 respondents, frequencies of five types of Web 2.0 applications (Facebook, YouTube, WordPress, Twitter and Prezi) that were used as hybrid e-learning tools were identified. Data was collected using a set of instruments. Results show that the instrument is highly reliable and validated. On the other hand, the Web 2.0 technologies had affected positively towards cooperative learning followed by authentic, intentional, and constructive learning. There was no relationship between Web 2.0 and active learning; however,...

The data was collected using the Meaningful Hybrid E-Training Instruments. Data was analyzed with the SmartPLS 3.0 software. The research findings show that the instrument is highly reliable and valid. Moreover, it has been discovered that Orang Asli students' learning styles have a positive effect upon their meaningful learning. This study demonstrated that teaching and learning activities catering to these students' different learning styles allow meaningful learning to be achieved more successfully. Therefore, teachers are highly encouraged to take into account the various learning styles of Orang Asli students in their teaching in order to help them achieve meaningful learning.
