The authors argue in this article that because of the continuing pressure of technology not only ... more The authors argue in this article that because of the continuing pressure of technology not only are the perceptions of students of legal information changing, but that the form and nature of legal information is also changing. Consequently, the unique nature of legal information which has isolated legal researchers from other disciplines is gradually eroding. These changes force us to reconsider our approach to teaching the skills of legal information, moving us away from the search for legal information and bringing us towards the control of legal information.
