The purpose of this research work was to developed a fuzzy logic system for cyber security. Four inputs were used and three outputs were produced with their associated linguistic variables, Triangular angular membership function was used to implement the system. Fuzzy logic controller is behaving best on the linguistic variables used in the research that is special control, physical control, and denial of service, virus, and special software Trojan horse logic bomb and so on as applied to this research. These are the variables used in this work were rules are derived best on the cyber experts reasoning to cater the intruders.

This research work is for the design of fuzzy logic based expert system to predict student academ... more This research work is for the design of fuzzy logic based expert system to predict student academic performance in Adamawa State University Mubi; Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) is used in this work, Gaussian membership function is used in this research work; the described experiments were implemented on MATLAB environment 12. Some candidates were used to test the system. The results of the findings reveal that Student academic performance can be predicted based on the inputs used, the system shows 90% accuracy.

The main aim of this research work is to develop a Neuro-Fuzzy system for diagnosing tuberculosis. The system is structured with to accept symptoms with the help of three domain Medical expertise as inputs that are used to automatically generate rules that are injected in to the knowledge based where the system would use to make decisions and draw a conclusion. MATLAB 7.0 is used to implement this experiment using fuzzy logic and Neural Network toolbox. In this experiment linguistic variables are evaluated using Gaussian membership function. This system will offer potential assistance to medical practitioners and healthcare sector in making prompt decision during the diagnosis of tuberculosis. In this work basic emblematic approach using Neuro-fuzzy methodology is presented that describes a technique to forecast the existence of mycobacterium and provides support platform to researchers in the related field.

Employing the right person for the right job is very important in any organization. However, many... more Employing the right person for the right job is very important in any organization. However, many organizations have Human Resources (HR) departments to manage this problem. Consideration of the applicant temperaments and the high rate of human subjectivity were considered in this research by developing personnel selection system using Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighted (FSAW) Method. This paper aimed at developing Fuzzy Logic Framework for Personnel selection process. A three level model are developed to handle: database, conditions required from applicants and ranking of applicants according to suitability for selection, and the consideration of individual temperament was paramount. A person with a combination of the right skills and natural tendencies or abilities is found to perform the job effectively. Finally, the research revealed that applicants with best chances can be hired thus leads to high organizational performance.

The researcher employed fuzzy rule-base inference system methodology using four inputs variables; funding, logistics and operational equipment (FLOE) condition of service, remuneration and motivation (CSRM), recruitment, training and promotion (RTP), confidence and support by the community (CSC) were used to determine the corruption severity level. An output variable; corruption severity level (CSL) was adopted for the model development. The simulation was carried out using MATLAB 2015 for Windows. The results revealed that it is very obvious for Nigeria as a country to have a Police Force whose corruption severity level is low. Osteomyelitis is a major disease causing disability and reduction in quality of life. The symptoms of Osteomyelitis were analyzed based on the proper discussion with Experts to gather information about possible symptoms which are used as inputs parameters to the system four (4) inputs were used in this study that is pain, swelling, fever and age with their respective linguistic variables, one hundred and five (105) rules were generated for the system to draw conclusion Neuro-fuzzy methodology and triangular membership function is used throughout this experiment MATLAB 7.0 is used to implement this experiment. This study has paved a way to the creation of intelligent system that would determine the severity level of any kind of disease.
