Although nontoxic, methane is a flammable gas, which can become highly dangerous for humans. In this paper, we introduce BotCH4, an integrated hardware and software system that aims to automatize methane emission monitoring in landfills and biogas production sites. BotCH4 consists of a robot and an Android application. The robot comprises, among other equipment, an Arduino board, a gas sensor and GSM and Bluetooth modules. Through Android application one can remotely control the robot's movements and measure the methane concentration in certain spots. The result in parts per million (ppm) is sent by SMS. The robot also has line followers sensors making it capable of operating in automatic mode, following a predetermined circuit. Index Terms - Biogas, Greenhouse Effect, Landfills, Methane, Robotics.

The search engine allows that description to be pitch independent. Furthermore, the system admits some errors on the musical fragment description, according to a parameter available in the interface.Este trabalho apresenta um sistema de busca em arquivos musicais via Internet, baseado na descrição de trechos musicais. A busca é feita de maneira a ser independente da tonalidade em que o trecho é descrito pelo usuário. Simultaneamente, o esquema também é capaz de admitir uma certa quantidade de erros na descrição do trecho musical, de acordo com um parâmetro controlável a partir da interface

This requires using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The most important free GIS applications are uDig and terraView. However, these applications are available in desktop platform, a fact that restricts the information access and difficults the data sharing. This paper therefore presents the EMAPI, an open source GIS developed in web platform, which combines the features found in major available GIS applications. E-MAPI is based on GeoServer, a free maps server to develop customized Webmapping solutions, and OpenLayers, a JavaScript library used to display maps and other geospatial information in dynamic web pages.
