The main idea relies on connecting the bio-system in such a way that a suitable electrical oscillator, which only uses a DC power source, is built. Thanks to the employed electrical models, the oscillation parameters can be directly related to the biological test. System simulations show that the impedance values of a tissue, called herein Zx, can be determined by measuring the actual frequency and amplitude of the proposed VO system, being possible to select the frequency range to optimize the system sensitivity.
