Illinois Center for Transportation, a University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign transportation research center, leads the discovery, development and implementation of solutions that make mobility smarter, safer and more sustainable — for everyone.

Founded in 2005, ICT serves the needs of the state and the nation through research, education and outreach. The premier research facility has innovative partnerships and collaborations with Illinois Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, industries, national and international agencies, and many others.

Housed at ICT are research and testing facilities located just 15 miles north of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Rantoul, Illinois.
