Mustafa YILDIRIM

I am an applied micro-theorist with a special interest in political economy and corporate finance. I often build game-theoretic models to explain empirical puzzles and make further predictions. Primarily, my research has been on the economics of conflict and cooperation. Such situations involve contests and tournaments in which economic agents spend resources to win a prize. Winning, however, also depends on the political, institutional, and cultural landscape.
